“Ma Reilly's has fantastic fresh foods and authentic baked irish delights. I especially loved the irish crème buns with the fresh crème and Nutella. I had a home made strawberry shortcake as well. I love the fresh wraps and sandwiches as well. I know my review isn't the best worded but the fact that I've been five times since I've discovered it (in the last two weeks) should tell you how great it is.“

“I very much enjoyed this coffeeshop. It is very cozy and welcoming. The coffee was fantastic, and they have creative drinks I haven't seen other places. It is the perfect sort of place to come and sit and study or do work. The staff was so kind. I like how they display local artist's artwork on the wall. “Discovery: My family was visiting in town near the mall so I took them for a shopping day and lunch in the South Shore Plaza Mall. When we entered the mall we heard the drums playing and followed them to see the opening (relocation) ceremony Lion Dance for Lumi. While there I saw a friend who absolutely recommended we try it (He was there eating with his family of 4). Food: After shopping my parents and I dropped in and got our first ever Banh Mi (Vietnamese Sandwiches). I tell you these sandwiches (we got the grilled beef) were incredible! They were filled with fresh veggies and bursting with flavor. We also tried the Vietnamese eggs rolls which were good. Restaurant style- It is a small restaurant on the main floor of the mall. It has seating and very cute interior design (it is open to the mall corridor.) It also has it's own bathroom - which is really nice in a mall setting. You order by walking up to the counter and you pick your food up from the counter when they call your number (No table service). Food comes out quick. Depending on the time of day it can get quite a crowd. Highly Recommend if you love a really amazingly fresh sandwich! I will absolutely go back. I already sent friends who loved it too!“

“Had a wonderful time, especially thanks to the tour guide(s) at 4 pm. The main leader, “Sarah,” definitely made the experience worthwhile. There was a giant group of young kids that weren’t paying much attention (as young kids do-not a complaint) yet we were able to learn and enjoy the amazing museum and experiences nonetheless. They were very accommodating, humorous, and well equipped to handle large groups of people while keeping their attention. We liked the experience and would go back.“

“I've been wanting to try the donuts here for ages. I'm so glad I finally made it in. They're melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Their honey glazed is like a giant crispy Kreme. The donuts are Super fluffy. This also appears to be a great hang spot for coffee and lottery (as seen by the locals).

Dessert came in a cute glass jar, I can see myself re-using it for something else.
Price was closer to $13.
I think it is a decent sized dessert.

I thought the creaminess of the of the jelly was smooth, good, and refreshing. There’s a strong aroma of coconut not artificial which surprised me. The rice is also spot on!
Overall not too sweet. Slightly on the higher price but compared to Mango Mango? Gong cha? It’s about normal AND you get a cute mason jar.“

Way better than gas station muffins with vegetable oil, and they’re lower in fat. A nice treat.

I tried a small taste of each flavor, and the sin-a-muffin, berry blast, cappuccino, and birthday cake were my favs. Some muffins had a soft and fresh texture when at room temp, but others were still harder (maybe not as fresh. Will have to toast them).

I’ll have to come back for more at a later date, but less than $3 a muffin is not bad and it will last me a while as snacks :-)“

“Review: A Confusing Experience on a Rainy Day

On a rainy day, I recently visited a local place called "Toasted Flats" with high hopes for a cozy meal, a warm drink, and a bit of respite from the dreary weather. While the coffee I ordered was soothing, my experience quickly became puzzling and frustrating.

I had ordered a toasted flatbread, something I was really looking forward to. However, to my surprise, the woman serving me informed me that I wasn’t allowed to eat my flatbread. I could drink my coffee, but apparently, eating my meal was not permitted. She mentioned that the establishment had been open for eight years, which made me wonder how a place could be licensed to sell food but somehow not allow customers to eat it.

At first I thought she was joking with me, quickly realized she was not.

The whole situation left me confused, as it seemed like a bizarre, contradictory policy. How can a place sell food, but then restrict your ability to consume it? It felt like a strange contradiction.

While I can appreciate a business's need for rules and regulations and licensing, this experience left me scratching my head. I won’t be rushing back anytime soon, and it certainly didn't leave me with the warm, welcoming feeling that a rainy day meal should. Maybe next time, I'll do more research and find a place that will let me eat my food in peace, rain or shine.“
