“We are tourists to Boston, a Spaniard and a Mexican couple, so obvs our level of Colombian knowledge isn't great. With that said, the place was very lively, and you can tell it's a staple to this neighborhood. Everyone came in for breakfast, which was quickly provided. Prices were very fair for the quality of items. The gals behind the counter are clearly hard workers. My husband ordered one of their tamales, and that thing could feed a family of 3. He really liked it but I couldn't get past the texture. We tried empanadas and like a cheese pastry, all very good. The ambiance was very simple but cafeteria style, which helps to meet new people. Seats were kind of uncomfortable though. Overall, we appreciated it.“

“Their beef empanadas with the mashed potatoes inside are my favorite. It's better than the chicken ones. A little hole in the wall spot near Maverick Station. Service is good and fast. There isn't a lot of seating since it's always poppin' inside.“

“The food was amazing- very tasty!! Portions are above average. The prices are slightly high, but not bad. And the server was very sweet & cordial. Highly recommended!!!Parking: Had to park at the Marshalls parking lot a block away due to no available street parking by the restaurant. However, the area is totally pedestrian-friendly.“

“Here's an updated review of your experience at Tu Casa in Chelsea, including your observations about the cleanliness and service:---I recently visited Tu Casa in Chelsea and was pleasantly surprised by some unique offerings on the menu. I started with a pistachio martini, something I'd never seen before. It was quite good, not too sweet and with an interesting depth of flavor, though it didn't taste very strongly of pistachio. I also tried a Paloma, which was perfectly refreshing and added a nice citrus touch to my meal. For dinner, I ordered the fried fish accompanied by tostones, rice, and a salad. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the salad was unexpectedly enjoyable, with a creamy, savory dressing that really worked well with the addition of celery. The tostones were just right—crispy on the outside while still being moist inside. The highlight, though, was definitely the fried fish. It was cooked perfectly with a satisfying crunch that made it hard to stop eating, especially when paired with the simple, tasty tomato sauce. I also tried the crispy chicken tacos, a great concept topped with cabbage and a tomato salsa. While the tacos were good, the chicken itself wasn’t seasoned enough for my taste. However, a bit of hot sauce fixed that right up, enhancing the flavors nicely. What also stood out was the attention to cleanliness and service. The staff was very proactive about keeping the place clean and were quick to clear plates, making the dining experience even more comfortable and enjoyable.Overall, Tu Casa provided a solid dining experience. It's a good spot if you're in the area and in the mood for some well-prepared dishes in a comfortable setting.“

“Nice food, large servings, good selection of drinks from hot chocolate to strong to pineapple sangrias. Friendly service and enjoyable family-friendly Latin music in the background. I ordered the bandeja cazuela tradicional, which has a bit of everything: meat, chicharrones, rice, avocado, corn, tomato, and plantains in a kind of broth. Had it for lunch and the leftovers for dinner!“
