“I've found a new favorite brewery! It's great to see such a cool place in the heart of Kingston's downtown. We need more amazing options like this in our town center. Forty Second Brewery pays homage to the fact that the 42nd parallel runs straight through Kingston. There's even a marker celebrating this off of Landing Road, not far from Bay Farm. The owners of Forty Second Brew Co. have transformed a run-down old restaurant space into a trendy spot with exposed brick, rough hewn boards, and delicious IPAs.

If you're lucky, you might witness a keg being kicked by one of the patrons, and see how they celebrate such milestones and share them on social media.

Update: By the time I made it there for my second visit within two weeks I got recognized for kicking a keg of their Three Sheets To the Wind IPA (6.9 ABV), I had the privilege of joining a winning trivia team, and celebrated the birthday of a new friend. Forty Second for the win!“

“Amazing spot with great food and beer options! My wife doesn’t drink beer, but Lauren at the bar was quick to offer some tasty alternatives for her. She was also knowledgeable about the beers to steer me in the right direction. Vitamin Sea has a relaxed vibe and is a nice place to stop and enjoy the views that Plymouth has to offer. Will definitely be back!!“

“We decided to stop in to Mayflower Brewing around lunch time on a weekday. There wasn't any food available at that time but the beer and service were both great. The bartender was attentive to us and allowed us to taste a number of beers before we settled in on our pint-of-choice. There are beers for every beer taste, from light rice lagers to double IPAs. Personal favorite: Whisky Barrel Aged Brown Ale.“

“Stopped in on a Tuesday just touring the area from Ohio because we’re beer nerds and loved this place! Larry was working and gave us an amazing experience.The beer on tap is very good and the hospitality from Larry was amazing. We talked for most of the time and learned a lot about the Plymouth/MA brewing scene. It seems this brewery is a staple for brewing in the area and a must stop if you’re a beer fan. They have a lot of cool events and the beer store if you want to home brew. We’re not from the area but highly recommend this brewery!“
