Service and ambiance were both good. Food was ok. Tuna tartar was overly Smokey and otherwise bland. Lamb shank was very fatty and didn't have much flavor.
I truly enjoyed my experience & Miraval didn't disappoint with the top notched service. Definitely would come back again.
Found this from online reviews and decided to try and was very happy we did. From the service to the food, you got the feeling that they really cared and delivered beyond. The servers and host were so genuinely friendly, interested, and timing was perfect, I was very impressed. And then each course was a true pleasure, delicious, surprising, and interesting flavor combinations, cooked to perfection. It was our 15th anniversary which I had written in our opentable reservation and they made sure to make it special for us above and beyond. From a fancy meal in the Berkshires at a very cool resort-like setting, I'd recommend trying it.
Food, service, building, food (had to say it twice), were excellent. Our table was located in the middle of the room, which detracted from the ambiance. We will be back.
September 2023: I really enjoyed our dinner here. The food was excellent, the service was attentive, and the view from the windows onto the mountains was beautiful. The fois gras was fantastic, I order it often and this is one of the best ones I have tried. The duck main course was very good. The chocolate gaute was probably the weakest of the courses, but not bad. The medium roast coffee was rich and flavorful. The tables in the dining room are well spaced out, so it felt safe from COVID point of view.

It's a lovely location with a great view. The service is first rate and the food is good but not extraordinary. I thought the Duo of duck was excellent, the corn velote was fine but not great. The amuse bouche was OK except for the one thing that had curry in it, I hate curry but that's a personal preference.

the food was outstanding however it took us more than 20 minutes to actually find the building the restaurant was in. We found the parking lot (in small print on sign) however didn't know which building of the complex to find the restaurant. Calling the telephone number did not help
The Miraval is a beautiful property and the 1894 restaurant has a great vista. Our waiter was attentive, personable, and sweet. The price fixe menu was reasonably priced; we really enjoyed our meal and overall experience. I recommend!

We had a wonderful meal at 1894. I have to admit we were a bit worried that we might find the restaurant pretentious but nothing could have been less true. From the moment we walked in the front door, everyone was so warm and welcoming. The setting is gorgeous and, as the first to arrive that evening, we had the dining room to ourselves for a bit, which we really enjoyed. But once it filled up, the noise level was fine and the level of service didn't change at all. The food was spectacular--from the amuse bouche to dessert, and every course in between--we loved it all. Highly recommend the duck and bison but truly, everything was delicious. One of us had the wine pairing and it was creative (really loved the Portuguese port and tonic water although I generally don't like either!) and each wine complemented the food very well. Cannot say enough good things about the service--attentive in just the right way, knowledgeable and so friendly. A delightful experience and we look forward to coming again. Thank you!
We we're a party of 4. Delicious food with fantastic wine pairing. Jenny, Jamaica and the entire team were all very welcoming, professional and knowledgeable. We couldn't be more impressed with the culinary teams skill, food preparation and execution. Will definitely be back to dine soon with more friends who love great food.
very creative, beautifully presented food that was excellent in taste. The service was outstanding, and the flexibility offered to accomodate my wife's food restrictions was very appreciated. Jenny the hostess made us feel very welcomed whe we arrived, during our meal, and a warm goodbye. We will return again.
A delightful dining experience form start to finish. Excellently prepared food, beautiful presented, carefully selected wines and knowledgeable waitstaff. All in a gorgeous finely crafted 1894 mansion on a hill. A special treat for those special occasions.
Service was outstanding, extremely attentive and friendly. Price was a bit high with the prefix menu since we did not drink, but would recommend if you've never tried it. Definitely a nice experience.
