I called and asked about same-day cake pickup, and the staff was wonderfully helpful, walking me through the options and offering size recommendation. I decided on the strawberry cake, and it was an absolute triumph! It was light and fluffy—perfectly balanced and not that sweet. An instant favorite!

My family and I have been buying cakes for special occasions and bubble tea on a regular day for YEARS from Sweet Thyme. We've never had a bad experience, and the cakes are always moist, fluffy, and most importantly, not too sweet.

Today I got to try a few things at this little cozy bakery located at Lexington town center . The food tastes so fresh here and the owners are very thoughtful making the experience the best for the customers. They take pride providing high quality bakery and service. Highly recommended.

We bought special moon cakes, sliced cakes (cheese cake, chocolate mouse, green tea red bean...) ordered birthday cakes. Their cakes and pastries taste heavenly. Especially if you are from Asia, and don't like the super-sweet American bakeries, this is the best you can find in Greater Boston! The owners are super nice. And they work to perfection, everything looks beautiful and are delicious. They take great pride in their product too, and have a lot of loyal customers. They only open for limited hours, and I wish that they open for more time. But that's probably what makes the cakes and pastries special because they must have invested a lot of efforts into making them.

I’ve been getting my cakes here for years. The cream is not too sweet, very light, and fruity. The cake itself is light, moist, and fluffy.

This bakery is called Taiwan Is Bakery, and it’s quite different from the overly sweet cakes you often find in the U.S. Personally, I really dislike those sugar-loaded American cakes, so I truly appreciate the more balanced flavors here. I occasionally order cakes from this place, and I also love their bread—especially their plain loaf bread, which is made without harmful additives. My stomach feels so much more comfortable eating it compared to regular commercial bread.

I even keep track of the days when the loaf bread is available so I can stop by and pick it up fresh. Of course, everyone has their own taste, but this is a Taiwanese bakery, and the cakes and bread here perfectly match the palate of many Taiwanese, Korean, and Chinese people.

What I also appreciate is that instead of using artificial mixes, they bake everything from scratch with natural ingredients. That’s why I trust this bakery and continue to buy their bread regularly.

I had a horrible experience today in my birthday so disappointed . This was a cake that was ordered for my Birthday. I only have cake once a year, and was so looking forward to chocolate cake. This, by far, was the worst cake I ever had. It ruined my Birthday, and my family felt horrible. The cake wasn't made as ordered, was dry and tasted like stale bread and butter. Beware!! , i learn my lesson .

This local place has been a comfort and all time favorite spot for over 8 years now. They have the best boba drinks and best cake pastries I have ever had. The boba is not overly sweetened like at other places. I like that they don’t serve the boba drinks with ice, but it’s still served perfectly cold (while hot is also available). The strawberry and mango cakes, as well as their mousses, are amazing. I ordered the mango cake for a grad party: 10/10 everyone loved it. Only thing is, I wish they were open on more days/hours.

The people are very nice, just be strait forwards with your communication. Amazing place to stop by.

If you are worried about waiting outside to get your food, that was something that Sweet Time requested during the pandemic for the safety of their workers. They no longer do this.

They have nice benches outside to soak in the weather!
