Great portuguese food in a cozy and friendly restaurant. They have a menu with a big variety from octopus to the tradition steak with french fries ( Portuguese style ). Totally recommend it

Great food. Had a dish with Shrimp and a great orange colored sauce garlic sauce. Camarao Alhinho. It was fantastic. There was only the bartender there, and I think she may have also been the waitress. No fault of hers but the service was very

You can have the classic dish of Carne Alentejana ($16.95) at @friendsrestaurantlowell. "Marinated cubed pork with littleneck clams in a zesty white wine sauce, served over cubed potatoes with rice." Or you can have the "A Chefe" version for $21.95 that adds scallops (1 large) and shrimp (3). Not sure if this was worth the extra $5. There were three whole clams, so it wasn't exactly an abundance of them. The potatoes were cooked perfectly and then lightly fried. The pork was tasty...read full review
