Finally went out to check this place out. Because me and my wife have had a new love for hot pot. Only then was that we went with a big family because it was her birthday. This place can't really set set up for more than 8 people which is a dumb side but we made the most of it. They charge for the broth which I think should be included with the hotspot. So that sucks, but all in all the food, the service, the atmosphere everything was good. The drinks were decent too but could be a little stronger.Nice place to go if you're going on a date or just a few of you

Shabu Shack has become our go-to spot for hot spot in the Boston area. We love the dipping sauce and how thinly sauce the meats are cut. For the price we're paying and the quality of food, it's really hard to beat. On top of this, the atmosphere/vibes make it very cozy to sit down and eat. Service is wonderful and very responsive. One of the best hot pot places in the Lowell area and perhaps in the north of Boston area!

The restaurant was very clean and had a nice ambiance, though the restroom could use some updates. We had a hotpot and some other dishes...a long drinks...they were just okay.

this place is really beautiful and the service was so nice. we accidentally ordered a broth that was too spicy for my grandma to handle and our waiter brandon didn’t mind changing it at all. broths were great, the shrimp tempura was perfect. excited to come back

Amazing environment and fantastic staff! This is a fantastic place to enjoy an amazing meal and have a nice get away in town. I had a date with an amazing person and the environment and overall experience made everything seem so perfect. I will definitely be coming back again!

This place is chaos. It really felt like we weren't wanted as guests. Everything we asked our server was a nuisance to him. There were no drink refills, mistakes with the food that was brought, and a complete inconsideration for our group as a whole. I've never had hot pot where you aren't provided with adequate sauces accompanied by garlic hots and scallion. Then they charge for extra herbs but their extra serving is a dollop or a morsel size. The chicken broth is sub par at best. We left still hungry and we ordered multiple appetizers, extra ramen, rice with our meal combos and a couple of meat combinations with veggies. Very disappointed . It's a bummer because the place is actually cute and cozy with a pretty waterfall wall near the bar. I can at least say the meat and veggies were fresh but man compared to everything else that isn't even saying much.

This place is a hidden gem and underrated. Food and drinks were super fresh and tasty! If you’re in the mood for hot pot and don’t want to travel to Boston, this place is absolutely worth it! We will be back!

Our second time here, it eas a special request from one of my kids, and both of my kids just begged me to review the place. (This never happens.) We had the seafood, the strip, and the lamb. All delicious. I love the veggies mix, too. Keep up the good work!

I am extremely disappointed The menu said 6$ for the broth. I got a combo seafood platter which come with free chicken broth or veg broth but I only wanted Mongolian flavor (that i will pay for 6$). The soup came in a pot with divider and both side are Mongolian soup. But the receipts came they charge me 12$ because since the pot has two divider, they charged us 6$ each side. I meant like they should just put soup in the pot and don’t have to put the divider. If there is a clarify in the menu that each side they going to charge 6$ i would’ve of order another flavor.

First time here wasn't really impressed.1. The order took a long time to come and 1 appetizers wasn't brought out.2. We should automatically get water and napkins, we had to request for more a few time.3. However, the appetizers seem to be better than the main dish, ordered kim chi broth and it came out right.4. Mix drink wasn't amazing, it was either too watery, or no flavor at all and straight up Alcohol..I'd probably would come back to support the locals community but would just order appetizers only until they have a better system going.

I'm not sure why this place has so many bad reviews. I come here very often and I always have great service and great food. I'd rather drive here and not have to deal with the stress of being in boston w/ no parking etc.A lot of the reviews I see are from when they first opened and they were just getting started. Don't let that stop you from trying this place out.
