Best curry chicken patties!!!

Jamaica’s Flavor is one of those hidden gems—a true hole-in-the-wall spot in Lynn that’s all about authentic flavor over flash. There’s nothing fancy here—no music, no alcohol, a small menu, and simple décor—but what it lacks in ambiance, it makes up for with incredible food and warm hospitality.

The parking is decent, and while the menu isn’t extensive, everything on it is rich in Jamaican flavor. The seasoning is spot-on, and the dishes are clearly made by people who know what real island cooking is all about.

What really stands out is the staff—sweet, humble, and genuinely kind. These ladies treat you like family, and that alone makes the experience special. The prices are solid, the portions are fair, and the food is consistently delicious.

I wouldn’t give it five stars in the traditional sense, just because it doesn’t offer the full dining “experience” with bells and whistles—but if you’re looking for simple, real-deal Jamaican food, this place is absolutely worth it. I’ve been there three times already, and I’ll be back every time I’m in Lynn. Totally recommended.

Best Jamaican food around no questions asked

Really annoyed with the fact that I order a small plate and get charged for a big plate plus a lil more… literally 10$ more…I get home and my order is not complete, I call in so I can drive back to get my missing food and she tells me they didn’t have any left. Soooo Why wouldn’t she tell me that while making my plate is my question?! Also if I would have never mentioned anything about the extra charge I wouldn’t have gotten my money back. So unprofessional. Never going back. The vibes is always off.

The food is good and the portions are hefty, The curry chicken was delicious.
But I have to praise the patties... They were so flaky and full of filling.
These were reminiscent of the way good patties were made decades ago, not like the thin pancake patties you see everywhere sold at other carribbean restaurants.
I will be back soon. I want to check out the Oxtail dinner next time.

Parking: There is room for 7-10 vehicles.

Food is always delicious and very well cooked the owners are super nice elderly couple and the son is also very nice. Nothing negative for me to say I think the only thing here the past year or so is will they retire soon the wife tools tired and a lot the husband looks tired as well the vide to me is they need to retire and enjoy the rest of there life maybe the can't retire because old financial but maybe sell the restaurant and I would hope the next owner would keep the same recipe I am don't know anything about them but u wonder why the son can't take over for them . they also lately have been running out of certain items not sure if they are not cooking enough because first time I tough maybe I came at five and its end of day but I also went during lunch time and that was too early to be running out of food it would also be great if the phone was answered because when I call no one ever answers and now that I know they run out of food be great to be able to call and check ahead of time instead of getting there and be told no. The Lady helping them seems frustrated all the time and its probably because of the owner not listening or forgetting and making small mistakes and its understanding because of her age this Lady is just tired and I feel bad I would like to see her retire and enjoy herself in her island or here where ever her and husband want to relax but just go enjoy. Wish them the best tough and while they are open go try what they do have that day.
