“Place could definitely use a facelift, but get that it’s part of the charm. Our food was great, good value and excellent service. Didn’t feel rushed when ordering and guy answered all our questions. Music was a little loud. Sangria drink needs to be way better (assuming it’s concentrate & liquor). Got the seafood salad and the ribs. Tostones were fantastic. House made spicy vinegar was 10/10. Just being a bit critical because how much I liked the place. Must go if you’re in the area. Definitely coming back.“
“I absolutely love this place. It’s a place away from home and the staff always makes you feel at home! The food is delicious with the Puerto Rican authentic sazón. Great for a quick lunch or dinner. There is ready to eat food- buffet style or you can order a la carte. Some of my favs pork chops (chuletas), roasted pork shoulder (pernil), and grilled chicken breast with onion and peppers (pollo asado en salsa).“
“I had 2 chicken pastelitos and the pernil mofongo. Both were absolutely delicious. Best pastelitos I've ever tasted. It was my first time eating mofongo and I'm glad I chose this restaurant. I can't wait to try some of the other dishes. They are so generous with the food. I was expecting a lot less.“
“We arrived early for our reservation. We were promptly seated. Service was on the laid-back side of slow. We had plenty of time before our theater performance. This wasn't a huge deal. We ordered two chicken mofongo, and we received only one. Our waiter was apologetic and quickly brought the missing entrée. Portions were huge for the price. My drink was well made and perfectly strong. The restaurant is small and lively. It is a bit loud. The restroom is very clean. You are not told an 18% gratuity is automatically added to your bill. I typically tip 20%, so it's not a big deal. But patrons should be made aware. I've mistakenly tipped 38% in the past for not noticing the auto gratuity. We are not often in this part of Boston. If we are in the future, we will return for another meal.“
“I drove from Randolph ma, and it was worth every single minute the owner greeted us very nice when we got there gave us time to look at the menu and then he told us a little bit about the food and even let me try a bit off rice and it was bomb so me and my wife went with the Tripleta sandwich for me and pernil sandwich For My Wife and man again was it bomb. All I keep hearing from other people that where sitting there eating how good the food was and they wasn’t lying I couldn’t what for mine and there were right..I’ll give them more stars if I could.. I’ll definitely be back.“
