“First time here, and it was a hit. All the food we had was great, and the service was great too. I just finished my leftover pork chop, and even after microwaving it, it was awesome and I nearly gnawed on the bone. The scotch bonnet pepper hot sauce was a great addition too. Drink menu was good and my wife said her eggplant salad (though not really called a salad??) was literally the best salad she has ever had.“

“Buffalo chicken was sooo good. Idk if the texture would’ve sold non-vegans - but I loved it. If you’re bringing non-vegans here I’d recommend the dishes using Beyond meat because that will taste more realistic to them than the seitan Updated from previous review on 2026-03-15“

“The woman who waited on me and my family was incredibly kind. We have a wheelchair bound daughter and I just hope the know how come the made us feel plus the food was amazing. Save room for a cappuccino and tiramisu!“

“Hands down my fav burger on the northeast by far my favorite place to play in Boston as a musician- Sean and Manny are kind, helpful, professional, and set the bar so high for how establishments should be run especially with live music. “Tatiana was not only a superb waitress, but managed the floor hosting and held down the kitchen cooking while she was severely understaffed. To say she was a woman of many hats would be an accurate statement. The wine was spectacular, and the food was second to none, specifically the eggplant. This is your place to go for delicious food and wine in southie.“

The solo waitress was a beast… she did a fantastic job. The seating situation is far from ideal, but I love that they are working with what they got in the best way. Definitely a comfort type restaurant.
We ordered shrimp dumplings - Crispy Shumai (see photo) - excellent.
Chicken Tatsuta- original (photo) - cooked perfectly, moist.
And Yaki Don (photo) - great meat /rice ratio!
This place is worth a wait. We lucked out and didn’t have a wait, but I can see a wait happening frequently. I will be happy to wait next time I’m in the neighborhood!“

“Jackson’s Kitchen has been a go to spot for us for years. I love that we can get a salmon dinner with rice pilaf and veggies or an awesome sub or burger. The diverse menu has something for everyone! Don’t miss out on the meatballs or fish tacos either. I end up getting a few dishes- too many good choices.“

“Mr. Petisco catered the welcome party for our wedding. Lais and her family answered all of our questions and gave us tons of options. They provided a great spread of food that came out delicious and were excellent finger foods for our guests. . Reasonably priced and delicious! (I'm still thinking about that cheesy bread)“

“Finished playing basketball and want to have something healthy. Then went to Iris and ordered Cobb salad. It is good with chicken, bacon and salad, they also add avocado with it. Even though it looks like a fast food restaurant, but the food itself is definitely not fast food and worth a try. I will try other kind of food in the future.“

“Went here for dinner after a Bruins game. It’s a 3 minute walk from the Garden, great food (Pub style), great service, decent prices. Definitely will be back.“
