“Typical bodega, English is limited but the staff is very nice. If you can't speak Spanish- you can point to what you want and tell them the size. You can look at the menu and combo plates to have an idea what you want to order before you get in line. There's usually a lunch and dinner rush. Street parking is very limited. The food is delicious and the portions are very generous. We've also got catering from here before when we have family over. Our usually go to is fried chicken, yellow price and beans, carne guisada (beef stew) , pollo guisada (chicken stew) chicharron (fried pork belly) , fried plantains, assorted empanadas and habichuelas guisada (stewed beans). The best beans in town! This is actually a bodega/grocery store where there's also Hispanic groceries and specialty products available for purchase. Great hole in the wall establishment! Support local business.“

“Just stopped in for some lunch the food was delicious there was a nice inviting little gathering of people eating together in the dining room area in the back of the store my only problem is at the end I wanted another drink didn't have cash on me and they made me pay $5 for credit card when I only wanted a can of soda I had to buy like three of them other than that the experience was good the food was delectable and I will definitely be back“

“I got this for takeout. This is next to the noodle shop I went all the time. I wanted to get some takeout for later. First, they speak only Spanish. If you don’t speak Spanish, you will need Google Translate. But because there are only a few options, you can just point at the food and order. I ordered yellow rice, pork, and ribs. It came with a salad for about 10. Pretty good portion size. I think the pork rib is good, tender and moist with good flavor. The pork is a little dry but eatable. Flavor for both items are on point. The yellow rice is very tasty. You can eat that by itself. This place is great for a quick lunch. I will probably go back if I want to eat quickly.“

“The food is very good (as always), I just don't like the service/treatment of those women, sometimes you are first in line and they just look at you from top to bottom and they better proceed to serve other people and leave you there as if you were painting on a wall.“

“This was our first time. Although it was the middle of the afternoon on a Sunday the place was very busy. Staff didn't always speak English but they quickly found someone who did. The food was excellent and we were well taken care of. Definitely worth going back.
