Brunch was excellent, but costly, about $100 per person.

Our brunch was fantastic! The service was friendly and attentive. The brunch options were so delicious from the omelet station to the dessert bar. A highlight of our trip! We're coming back soon!

Absolutely outstanding. Service was beyond exceptional. Totally loved our waiter. Food was incredible. I'm not sure why there are negative reviews but overall it was excellent.

We always enjoy annual lunch at the White Elephant. This year we took a pass. A $32 burger even with a great view is just ridiculous. We went late afternoon for one drink. The prices are keeping the rif raf out. In fact, it’s keeping everyone out. We were the only party of four at Brant Point restaurant or bar. Earlier in the day, we had a great lunch, with no view, at the Brotherhood of Thieves. It was packed ( on a Tuesday in October ) we gladly waited 20min for a table.

Our server was fabulous! We guessed his nationality and got a free dessert. And it was a really nice touch to get a free wrap for the cold weather. The bread was fabulous and the steak was perfectly cooked. Only complaint was that the chicken confit was overly salty and the vegetables on the side were drowning in the sauce

Wait staff was great, location was great, but disappointed in the food.. we're not complainers but asked for steak med rare and it was medium well... rib eye steak wasn't as fatty or tasteful as it should be.. there was supposed to be demi glaze on it which was non existent.. fries and potato's were good though... drinks were over priced (but that's expected water front on Nantucket)...

Excellent food and service at this hotel restaurant. Located inside the White Elephant main building. The ambience was quite simple and modern which is what I was not expecting for the price level. The attire is casual smart. Because there was a convention in town there was a huge tent construction outside where normally the restaurant would be on the patio seeing the seaport view, there was not much to see from our window view table. The food was known for their mac and cheese lobster which was excellent! It actually is not on the heavy cream side it is more on the authentic lobster bisque consistency which made it incredibly delightful and nice chunks of lobster meat in this dish. Then we had fall off the bone lamb shank. It was made incredibly well. The oysters were perfect since they were from Nantucket. The ice cream was homemade and my favorite was matcha and they had coffee and raspberry swirl fruit. The service was excellent with probably trained, friendly and inviting. All overall my experience was good. I'd like to come back when I could eat outside

Honestly, overrated. We wanted to sit outside on the patio & they were redoing the entire landscaping out front during our lunch. Which, sure, we get it but maybe pause on the renovations during the busy lunch hour? Idk, for what we were paying for the experience it felt like a missed opportunity to cater towards paying guests. Additionally, our service was terrible. Sorry - hate to say it, but again, for what you're paying for lunch it felt like more consideration could been taken to ensure we had water & come by the table more than once to check in. Just our review though!

There was construction on the patio when we were there and overhead heaters that made it extremely hot. We ended up moving inside to the bar and eating at a high top table. Not the ambiance we expected but we enjoyed our meal.

Loved the lobster Benedict. The hash breakfast entree is also evidently good

This was a solid three-star restaurant. The ambiance and location were great but the food was overpriced and left something to be desired. Our service was a little slow as well. The lobster roll, clam chowder, and caesar salad were delicious but the sablefish was just okay (and looked like it had been sitting out for a little while). If you want to eat right on the water, this is a fine place but stick to their specials. If you plan on drinks and appetizers with your meal, budget about $100-$130 per person. If you just come in and have meal, about $50-$60 per person.

Upscale restaurant with a fantastic water view. It is the perfect place for great espresso martinis. It is expensive but you are paying for the upscale experience and perfect view of Nantucket.

We ordered a steak and it was obviously pre-made and they just reheat it on a grill before serving to save time in case there are a lot of guests. It was really dry and not freshly made. The steak was $72 and was not worth what we paid for it at all!
