Really good food with nice views of the water but can be loud so isn't the best if you like a nice conversation

Beautiful location off the ferry with scenic views. Menu was ok but prices are Crazy Expensive!! $24 for a glass of wine -really?! Staff was awesome! Attentive & very friendly.

Service was just adequate. Food was the best part of the experience, but overpriced. Got an email after I made a walk up reservation same day stating they would charge us $50 each if we canceled. I did not give them my email, so wondering how they got it. Wine was pricey and not very good. It was very noisy in the restaurant and not a relaxed atmosphere for dining.

We made a reservation for lunch for our day trip weeks in advance. When we checked in we were told they had a table available in the shade, but when they went to set up the table, a walkin party had seated themselves at our table dispite the sign to check with the host first. The restaurant gave us a table in full sun instead. So, all those hours I spent figuring out their reservation system and setting alarms so I could get us a nice table on our trip across the country got us a worse table than the walk-in party. The food was mediocre, I got the hot butter lobster roll, and it was identical to every hot lobster roll on the cape; unremarkable. I would seriously skip this place, but if you insist, just take whatever table looks nice before the host can seat anyone. Everyone on this island acted entitled and miserable, and this restaurant was the epitome of that experience.

I have the pleasure of frequenting Cru on Nantucket, and each visit surpasses expectations. The culinary expertise and exceptional service make for a truly unforgettable dining experience.

My go-to order is the refreshing 'Crucomber' cocktail, expertly paired with the Red Endive Salad, boasting a harmonious balance of walnuts, gorgonzola, crisp apples, and a drizzle of honey vinaigrette. Meanwhile, my husband indulges in the prime New York strip, cooked to perfection at medium rare, accompanied by rich, creamy mashed potatoes and a refreshing Modelo.

The picturesque setting, overlooking docked yachts and bustling harbor activity, creates a vibrant ambiance. The attentive waitstaff provides top-notch service, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable evening. I highly recommend Cru for its exceptional cuisine, inviting atmosphere, and outstanding service. This Nantucket gem consistently delivers an outstanding dining experience, making it a must-visit destination for any discerning palate.

Lobster roll is, of course, the star of the show- hot or cold! And we really enjoyed how much lobster we got, though the price is pricey. Service was fine, nothing special but the food came out very fast which was key for dining with a toddler. The hostess was able to put us in a booth with him very quickly which was much appreciated. Unfortunately, I had a fly in my cocktail and my husband ordered the rose but got a glass of some mystery white wine instead. They weren’t very apologetic about it… Overall, good views, good food, a Nantucket classic

Comfortable and slightly upscale restaurant by the waterfront and near where the ferries pull in. Good energy. Great place for a sunset drink. They close for the season from mid October to mid May. Indoor and outdoor seating. They have a lounge outside (corner with some sofas) where you can take your drinks.

I went to Cru and sat outside on a perfect breezy afternoon on August 29 with three girlfriends after shopping around Nantucket for a snack and celebratory drink before dinner. We all enjoyed our drinks which included my Bad Decisions and friends' casamigos margaritas, champagne, a Tito's martini and the cucumber drink. I tried half dozen each of the Devils Creek and the Pink Moon oysters (both amazing and perfect) while my friend had 12 Pocomo Meadow which she enjoyed. We all shared the frites which were delicious! What a lovely way to end the afternoon!

Nice views, good food, and great cocktails. Noise level is high, as everyone is in a good mood.
