“New chef and there during Christmas stroll which means exceptional volume of people. Friendly staff but slightly overwhelmed by the non stop grind of Stroll weekend. Limited menu for stroll. Food was tasty but not exceptional like the previous chef. Example, lobster bisque didn't have the one large piece of lobster I would have expected. Would go back during non stroll to see the what the restaurant is really capable of.“

“I just had the best 70th birthday dinner here! Chef Joseph created a delicious menu and paired wines. The Company Popovers accompanied a crisp Caesar salad, Wagyu beef and a lobster tail with smashed potatoes & broccolini was the entree, rounded out with “The Marriage of Crème Brûlée + Chocolate Mousse” and Dows Fine Sherry Port. The service was spectacular (thank you Johnny) and the intimate and cozy atmosphere made for a wonderful experience for my party of 10. I recommend this place for a singular and memorable experience!“

“How to describe the sconset café? It's the very soul of sconset it's self. The warmth of the atmosphere radiates from the owners passion to continue a legacy of intimate gatherings with friends and family. When you're in sconset, you're in no other place in the world, and when you're in the sconset café, you're somehow home. As soon as you walk through the door, a contrast forms between the glow and charm and the outside world fades into a background portrait. A table at the café is an invitation for you and your love ones to focus on one another, as a familiar staff offers sincere attention and leaves nothing to be desired. There are no lackluster options on the menu. If not for a capacity to feel indulged, one would feel the cupidity in ordering every artisan prepared creation. The sconset café has capture the essence of true dining and will no doubt remain a staple of sconset for another 30 years to come.“

“The best dining experience I’ve ever had on the island and one of the best I’ve ever had anywhere.The warm welcome we received from the moment we entered set the tone for an evening that will long be remembered. Chef Tony’s preparation of everything from the octopus to the cheese soufflé was perfect. Each dish we ordered was presented beautifully and was truly photo worthy.
