I have been going to Nantucket for years and finally found Island Kitchen this past August; one of the best meals to be had on the island. We ate outside by the bar and despite a bit of rainy weather; we throughly enjoyed the atmosphere and cuisine; the service was excellent and we have earmarked a return visit this August.
Dear IK and Maggie,
Thank you for making our wedding day a true dream!
We had envisioned a intimate private cocktail party / dinner. In ACK it’s rather difficult to find something to fit that bill especially in June. IK and Maggie were beyond accommodating. Island Kitchen | Restaurant & Catering offers great food and wonderful service in a fantastic outdoor space. The halibut dish over mashed potatoes is a must-try, along with the homemade ice cream and sorbet next door. The restaurant is known for its simple yet delicious meals, like the sourdough toast for breakfast. The menu is fantastic with so many choices, including a perfect Nashville Chicken sandwich and a very good peach Bellini. The crispy wrap is so well made and the perfect portion. Island Kitchen stands out for its exceptional creative dishes, prepared to perfection and served by a wonderful staff in a relaxed atmosphere. The outdoor seating is beautifully decorated. Servers are friendly and always checking in, giving solid recommendations. The food is great with large portions, especially the salads. While very popular, there are a few minor complaints, such as the presence of plastic plants on tables. The bread service is appreciated, and although there is limited wine for sale, Island Kitchen has a large parking lot that accommodates diners.
