Great food, excellent staff! Perfect location for downtown when wondering around.

The Nantucket Culinary Center and Corner Table was already a favorite place; the creative cooking events, the delicious variety of take-out and the charming atmosphere. One would not expect to be writing a restaurant review during COVID-19 and MA's Stay-At-Home orders, but NCC has stepped up to deliver delicious meals at a fair price right to our doorstep. The portions are generous: we (2) usually get 2.5 meals out of each 4-person serving and more importantly--they are delicious. (Have I said delicious enough times?) I'm not usually a big fan of take-out because it "loses something" when I reheat it, but this is not the case with their food. We order once a week, though I am tempted by the choices to click on all 3 options for the week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday). Thank you Joy and Greg for making a difficult time a bit easier, and--wait for it--delicious!

We attended a special event dinner recently during Christmas Stroll weekend. It was a phenomenal. Greg and the other chefs made it a wonderfully engaging evening and their meal was delicious. I am selfishly not calling out the name of the event as tickets are limited and I'm not increasing the competition for next year! But kudos to the wonderful team.

My family and I had the best time here preparing and learning about food at the Sip and Stir event! We have been going to Nantucket for years and happy to add this to our list every year! Such great owners and staff! Thank you so much

This site offers a nice café, outdoor seating that serves as a gathering place, kitchens for demos and participatory classes. Greg and Joy Margolis have done a great job of creating and running a destination for foodies.

Joy and Greg are just awesome. They catered my sons wedding and did a top notch job. We could not have asked for a better job and the food was delicious!!! The details Joy put into getting everything ready and was even a head of schedule which helped eased our minds during the wedding chaos that happens. I know they worked their butts off and made sure the day for my son and daughter in law would go as planned. The guest kept raving about all they served and how wonderful and attentive the staff was during the whole event. If your having an event-check here first. You won’t look anywhere else. This was a destination wedding and to have them do the catering was such a blessing for what they did. Joy even added somethings that we did not have time to do or forgot about. Thank you thank you so much for helping make this day incredible for my son and now daughter in law. You are the best!!!

The Nantucket Culinary Center is a true gem nestled in the center of town. The staff is professional, the chefs are amazing -Sarah Leah Chase, who co-authored The Silver Palate (and is said to be the brains behind The Barefoot Contessa), I heard, is there every Thursday now. We travel from California and attending her class is the highlight of our 2 weeks. The menu is rich and varied, the ingredients are fresh and you can't get a better farm to table experience.

They will heat the prepared food for you or just grab a sandwich Lovely patio weather permitting. Lately however the choices have been very limited. Please bring back your great selection of lunch and sandwiches

I don't know how Nantucket got so lucky as to score the culinary center, but this establishment is gorgeous, a real gem for the community and the island itself. My partner and I were lucky to get an impromptu tour of the facility on our recent stop on the island, and we were blown away by the professionalism and look of this high class facility. Seriously, the Nantucket Culinary Center feels as if the campuses of JWU and the CIA had a child and it was raised by the America's Test Kitchen TV studio. Clean, professional, and stylistic, it feels like you've wondered onto the set of the next food network TV show. Between the spacious gallery with beautiful stoves everywhere, clusters of ovens, and the large screen TV's projecting the details of what was being prepared on the prep station (should you not be able to see from the stove or seat) you will be impressed. I don't cook and I was awe struck. My partner was salivating. Another chef was setting up for one of the classes that they offer the community. Holy crap are these top notch lessons! Whether you want to learn how to cook Japanese, try your hand at sous vide, or hone your traditional New England recipes, there is a rotation of classes and offerings for you to choose from. I was delighted to find that the Culinary Center, owned by Greg Margolis, is the same person who creates the super delicious foods at The Corner Table, one of my staple eateries when I'm visiting. While he says Nantucket is home to him, he has such a combination of food savvy and urban cool that I believe the state of New York has decreed the area 5 feet around him to legally be considered part of Brooklyn at all times. I also imagine that as a child Greg would have beaten up Guy Fieri and stolen his bike, but in a good way. If you've ever wanted to "stage" (intern) in a top notch kitchen, but don't have a spare 80 hours/week free to devote to learning the culinary arts, take the classes that are being offered here. Hell, this place was so impressive, it's making me want to learn how to cook.

I was able to attend a cooking demonstration and luncheon here as part of a group event. The facilities are gorgeous and brand new. I appreciated the straightforward instruction. Owner/chef was down to earth and obviously passionate about his food. And I finally got to learn how sous vide cooking works! The meal was terrific, with a special shout out to the crispy scallops. All around lovely outing.

Had a wonderful experience on Valentine's Day with my husband. Everything from the service to the food to the wine was top notch! Great to enjoy something different and a little more exciting than just a regular dinner out. Everyone (Joy, Greg, Devin, and Camille) was so friendly, welcoming, and seemed truly happy to be there and make the night fun. The cooking demonstration by Greg was interesting and he kept it funny and engaging. Learning about champagne from Devin and Camille was also great and very interesting! We look forward to more events like this being offered and are so glad to have the Culinary Center on Nantucket!

The smell of the coffee in this cozy, little shop is amazing! I bought a gluten free carrot bread to take with me for breakfast the next morning, and it was absolutely delicious! I'm always delighted when I find baked goods that I can eat and taste just as good as regular baked goods.
