I spent a couple weeks on the island working and I have to say the vegan options were absolutely abysmal overall. HOWEVER, Scooters is one of the only exceptions! It is definitely still Nantucket priced so it isn't cheap but it is legitimately tasty and the portions are huge. Like the other review says, it is a chipotle style place where you choose a base, a protein, and some veggies and dressing. This is an incredible affordable option when visiting Nantucket. We wanted to grab dinner but also didn’t want to fold our crisp $100 bills over the table, so we found Scooter’s, a place for the less fortunate (just kidding). Food here was excellent, amazing portions. We got the herb chicken with rice and veggies and we ate it for dinner AND breakfast. Everything tasted great and was great value for your money, even outside Nantucket standards. A must-go place for day trippers...
I got the chili chicken with veggie fried rice, onions and spicy mayo. It was glorious. SO good!!! My eyes popped when I saw how much chicken they gave me. Generous portions and kind friendly staff.
