I was very well taken care of by a gentleman when I arrived (unfortunately I didn’t catch his name) and also by Sam, who recommended the two dishes I tried.

Both were excellent choices, especially the Bay Scallops, which were outstanding and absolutely worth visiting the restaurant just to try this dish.

Everything is great but their Lobster Fettuccini and Nantucket Seafood Brodo could have been better. Their foods are not that great.

Fine restaurant on Nantucket with excellent cuisine, but not pretentious atmosphere.

Everyone was so nice and the food was outstanding. Lobster and crab tortellini, scalloped potatoes, filet mignon. Bartender was very personable and helpful too.

Beautiful restaurant, we had the halibut special with a mustard crust topping, the stuffed cherry stone clams, Barnstable salad and the grilled lobster over fettuccine. Everything was amazing, but the best part was the service from host to our server Alex, she made us feel so welcome and also helped us pick out the correct wine for our dish items, you have to experience the Sea Grill restaurant!

Excellent food and service. I said toy family when we left that this was a meal I want on vacation. Left full, left happy and the great selections. Have to get dessert!

LoveIy restaurant we heard was excellent for seafood, and frequented by the locals. My lobster along with other seafood items were good, mashed potatoes and cauliflower terrific, and the wine was excellent!

This was by far the best dining we had while on Nantucket. Hearing that this is where all the locals eat, we had to try, and very glad we did. A lot of tourists are packing in the trendy restaurants and not sure they are there for the food quality. The quality here is on point. While visiting Nantucket you will be sorry if you don’t try the Sea Grill.

This place is excellent. The servers are always friendly and attentive, the interior is clean and modern, and the food is amazing. I haven’t ventured past the linguica crusted cod because from the first time I tried it, it became my favorite meal. I’ve gotten it several times over a few years and it’s always perfect. Besides that, every app I’ve tried has been great, and the bread is wonderful, especially the cranberry walnut bread. The only downside is it’s pricey, but I feel it’s worth every penny.

The Seagrille is always our favorite dinner on Nantucket! The food is fabulous! Better than Straight Wharf. Perhaps a dis advantage that it is next to Stop and Shop but you can park!! Nice atmosphere but the fresh fish is spectacular! Enjoy it every year! Don’t miss it!

Best food on the island by far!!! Free form ravioli, salmon, linguica crusted cod, simple scallops SO GOOD. Lobster bisque also so unique and so tasty and came out steaming hot. BEST Caesar salad on the island hands down. Also staff were phenomenal and truly cared about the service they were providing and for their customers. Must go to if on Nantucket.

My husband and I visited seagrille last night. We had time for one nice fancy meal on the island and this restaurant was suggested. We were told there was a dress code of smart casual. However, after arriving they let anyone come in dressed in any fashion including onsie outfits that look like swimsuit cover ups and hoodies. Very disappointed in the lack of adherence to the dress code posted which brings down the atmosphere of what u expect from a restaurant that requires a dress code and charges ALOT for their menu items.
The waitress was name Tiana I think. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We have absolutely no complaints regarding her service.
The lobster bisque was amazing. The oysters were good as well. We had the swordfish frites which were inconsistent with taste and texture. The broccolini had no real flavor and actually had a dirty taste. The fries were good.
We also had the grilled lobster and fettuccine…. The taste was good. Lobster was tough and stringy but overall okay. We were just a little disappointed with the experience compared to the cost…. We had better meals and experiences elsewhere on the island at a considerably less cost.

The staff here were blatantly racist. They unfairly refused to serve me and my father simply because of our ethnicity, even after the greeter told us we could sit at the bar. They claimed there was a “reservation” for the bar—something I’ve never heard of. If you value being treated fairly, regardless of your skin color or ethnicity, avoid this place. I’m extremely disappointed, especially after years of coming here without issues—until now. The staff looked at us up and down and were refusing service to us because of our skin color. I’m so disappointed.
