Absolutely fantastic restaurant! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, staff attentive, and every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. Fun spot! We were able to stop for dinner, would have been a great place to visit the bar during the day but they were closed a couple of days during the week and then only open in the evening when we were there during shoulder season. Highly recommend. It’s a more down to earth vibe, less stuffy and more laid back. Sports on TV, strong drinks and great tasting food (especially the poke bowl)!

Nothing less that Top Star Quality can be said about Slip 14, I work as a F&B Concierge and can say with total confidence that Slip 14 is the 2025 Gem of Nantucket. Chef David and his back of house staff (shout outs to Yvette & Neil) have transformed this location and leveled up in the Nantucket culinary arena; by stepping out of the mundane “ACK staples” and transitioning into bold flavors and experiences, finally some food that can be described as having sweet, savory and some heat. Nantucket menu items like halibut, chicken, and tuna which are common in all restaurants here. Chef David has taken and added real flavor and innovation, making them in my opinion better and different than the rest. As a former Manhattan bar & restaurant consultant / owner for 14 years, I’m happy so say that Slip 14, has surpassed my expectations for excellence and creativity. It’s not the white table cloth and hushed conversations type of place but a lively and engaging location with true local character. A casual atmosphere with beyond fine dining quality. Our Server Emma was charming well informed and attentive, she made sure we had everything and was still very down to earth, she made the dining experience a pleasure. Take it from me, this is a must do and experience while visiting the island, after all this is literally my job.

Slip WAS a fun place to go with good pub food...This year it's still fun but the food is some of the best on island! We have gone 3 times this year and each time it gets even better than the time before... The oysters with caviar are delicious. The flavor profiles are so unqiue. One of the best culinary experiences on island. Chef Dave has nailed it! Run don't walk before the reservations are 1 month out! This is a 'dark horse' and an 'insiders secret' NOT TO BE MISSED!!! THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY WINNING (EVERY TIME!) Awesome food!

Slip14 I am still thinking about my meal I had here a month ago- I was on island for a bachelorette party with nine girls- I did months of research of where to take my bride for dinner for our night out. From all the places I checked on the island slip14 was my number one choice- their instagram looked fun, the food was appealing and the location was perfect. I called as soon as they opened for the season stressed I wouldn’t get my reservation I wanted for a Saturday night, they let me know I had to wait a month in and advanced to secure our table. A month came and I was able to secure this reservation with no issues. The day of we arrive - it was better then I could’ve imagined- they sat us in our own area near the oyster shucking bar- the service was beyond outstanding, they were accommodating. I cannot wait to return to the island just to eat here again.
