Excellent food, excellent staff, and a great owner Tim. My spouse and I were here a week ago and we had bought a beautiful clock from one of the stores on Nantucket. I had hung it on the back of our chair at supper and walked out without it. It was unfortunate, that we took the ferry back without noticing it. It was pouring rain and the ferries were canceled for two days to get back. When I had phoned back to see if Slip 14 had it, Tim took it upon himself to ship it back on the ferry to us. We are so grateful for him to do this. It is such a great and expensive keep sake. Thank you for making our trip to Nantucket so great! It is very hard to come by these days to have had someone like you to be that trustworthy and caring!

In a sea of sameness on Nantucket, Slip14 is the place to be. They have everything. The food is fresh and interesting, the drinks are on point, and the staff is SO FUN. If you want to have an amazing dinner, snack, drink, and a good time, go to Slip.

Slip 14 has always been one of our favorite restaurants on the island. Last night we went with our entire family, a party of 7. The presentation of the entrees was beautiful but 3 of us ordered the Halibut and it was as dry as could be with very little taste. In fact, none of us have ever had Halibut cooked as poorly as this. Our server never came back after our entrees were served to ask how everything was. Considering the cost of the entrees and the quality it was definitely sub par. The drinks and appetizers were great and those that ordered the tuna and pork chops did enjoy their meals.

The drinks are the only good thing about this place and the only reason it’s getting 2 stars over 1. We ordered the tuna tostadas for a starter, the tuna was at least a week old and portions extremely small. For entrees we ordered the blackened ahi tuna dish, steak frites, and strawberry salad with steak on it. The tuna was still a little old but fine and the noodles were under cooked. Both steaks were ordered medium rare, one came rare and the other medium well. To top it all off it was overall extremely overpriced. One of my worst dining experiences in the last 10 years.
