Excellent food year after year. Have had nearly everyone on the menu at this point. All delicious. Amongst the best on the island.

Group of 6. Main dining room, very nice vibe. Food was outstanding - best in Nantucket. Service was solid. Only mild disappointment was the unexpectedly large bill at the end. They include an auto 22% gratuity on groups of 6 or more. Thats fine and we’d have gotten there anyway but would have preferred to be told that, either by the waitress or on the menu. The charge slip includes the all inclusive bill plus an additional line for more tip, which i find bad form. Its a great restaurant- just be up front.

Horrible hospitality from the moment walking into the door. The lead hostess or manager, not sure who it was, was VERY rude to us once I told her my name and reservation time. Then we asked our waiter why all the tables around us were getting this same dessert and he said because it was on the house for their anniversaries. We were also their celebrating our anniversary but never received the free dessert. He just brought us the bill and disappeared. We got the famous Lobster and Crab Bake and I would give it a 6 out of 10.

Due to my love for Nantucket, I'll give 2 stars. I've got 2 words for this place, completely garbage. Terrible staff, average at best food, and small nasty bathrooms. I was really excited to eat at Gabriel and team's restaurant but the service was inexcusable. If you wanted to be treated terribly and pay $85 for food you can get at the place across the street for half the price, go to straight wharf restaurant. I don't think this place has a single competitive advantage in the current market. Maybe a couple years ago, but Gabriel needs to get his staff together and re-think how they treat people and the food they serve. Sincerely a disappointing experience.

We were thrown into the corner, waiter was coughing on us and was very rude. Seemed to feel like we weren’t wanted there. Not to mention the overpriced food with hidden add ons. Do not go here!

Amazing. Every single thing was delicious. Doesn’t seem like you can go wrong, no matter what you order from this space. This menu is top class. The steak was incredible, oysters were delicious, salmon was unbelievable and the homemade crab pasta was one of the best pastas I’ve had. Forgot to take pics of the rest of the food. Got too excited.

What a disappointment. From the hostess that was annoyed that we popped in 10 mins prior to our reservation time (we had no problem waiting- Just wanted to let her know we could be seated earlier if that was better for them!), to the waitress that was annoyed that we asked if they carried a certain gin, the staff was all downright miserable.
The food menu is overwrought. I made the mistake of ordering the honeynut tartine and what came was a great glopping mess of 15 different elements, none of which went nicely together.
The swordfish was so dry I could barely swallow it. The prime-rib was… fine.
The only thing that saved our evening was the nice bottle of wine we ordered and the lovely autumn weather.

I can’t give this five stars I wish I could we ate dinner here our first night the food was really good the staff kinda forgot about us at times and could not answer some of our questions also the menu prices are very deceiving. The staff did not bring it to our attention about the extra charges on the two course fixed menu…:) But other than that it was good
