“We have had breakfast lunch at Eli’s several times, and have always had a great experience. Creative offerings, delicious food, large portions, great service. If we lived closer, we would eat there more often. Highly recommend!“

“I liked the burger. Truffle Gorgonzola fries were ok— I liked the fries, but didn’t really like the sauce. Stomach felt a little funny after, but not sure if that was the burger or fries.

Food came quick. Space was clean and small but not crowded.

Parking lot out back had multiple spaces available and was $1.35/hr. There’s some 2 hr free spots a few blocks down but you have to parallel park. Some 1 hr free spots closer to the restaurant but those were almost all taken Saturday lunch hour.“

“We stopped in on the way home from the airport, and it was amazing! From the moment we walked in the door, we felt welcomed. The atmosphere and food were awesome. I highly recommend the Mickey’s Chicken special and the red sangria which was a deep dark red- as sangria should be. Yum! My children loved our Irish waitress who Made them laugh and feel special. This restaurant is over an hour from where we live, but there is no doubt we will travel back often. Wonderful experience!“

THE MESSY SANDWICH ! Homemade Crispy BLT , heirloom tomato with a hit of peanut butter . “Ordered beef with broccoli, beef with green and pepper and onion, shrimp fried rice, and a glass of fruit punch. Shared it all between two people and took home all leftovers, and I can’t believe I’m writing this but NO complaints. I have a hard time with beef/chicken often tasting a little gamey or subtly foul at other restaurants. It’s something that with enough seasoning, I don’t think most pick up on because I’ve usually been alone in that observation. However, the meat was clearly clean, seasoned with ginger which helped enhance all the other flavors, and then the beef with broccoli sauce. It was just amazing.

Parking: You’ll usually find street parking, might take a loop at most but if you’re having trouble, park at the paid parking lot off Walnut Street and walk 2 blocks.“

“My husband and I went to Sobre Mesa last night, it had been recommended to us. We dined at the large U shaped bar. The atmosphere was lovely and customers appeared happy, as did the staff. I want to shout out Shannon, our bartender. Shannon welcomed us with her huge smile and positive energy. She really knew her way around the bar & talked to us about the menu. The margaritas had fresh lime juice and were so refreshing. We started with chips & salsa and guacamole, delicious. For dinner we ordered the fajitas with chicken, it was dynamite. We will definitely return!“

“Went to this restaurant after seeing it featured on Phantom Gourmet and my husband and myself left full of good food. The food was tasty and came to our table ready to eat and the service was great! They gave us everything we needed in a timely manner. The restaurant was on a smaller scale but we got a table pretty quickly without making a reservation. We even had the dessert of the strawberry shaved ice which had a bowl that was big enough to easily feed the two of us and it was very delicious!“
