Jim the manager went out of his way to check all the little details that make an event special from custom menus to an easel for a sign. The waitstaff was wonderful and accommodating! “First time at Cityside last night and it was great! The Nachos were so good I wish we had gotten a large, the buffalo wings had a nice crisp to them which made them amazing. For entrees I had the fish tacos which were good but not all that and my fiancé had the cheesesteaks which can’t be compared to cheesesteaks on the North shore but still good. The drinks were good but pretty pricey. My fiancé liked every drunk he got besides the Mai Tai. It was super nice being on the roof top which made the entire night 💕 I definitely would recommend.“

“Oh my goodness… this place is phenomenal! I was visiting Boston and have never tried this place before and had to give it try since it was near my hotel. The atmosphere and vibe is great- love that they decorated for the World Cup! The service is great aswell. “A bar with live music in JP. Remember to bring cash - no credit cards! They've been at this for a while, and the place looks tired, but we need more live music venues to help bands start out. The drinks are not expensive for Boston - worth a look if you find a band who plays the type of music you like.“

“The best bar in Dorchester! I was visiting the neighborhood on a Sat. night from out of town, and the bartender and clientele were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even brought in pizza from next door and shared it with everyone. :)

PS Why do your hats not say maverick, @ maverick Hospitality maybe you open a place next middlebeast next.. I wonder the dos equivalent reps buddy who just just came from sox game was its so hard to make a comeback its really not though“

“I've gone to Cook twice and both times have been impressed with the quality of food and service we received. Depending on the night, I would definitely recommend a reservation. The last time I went, I ordered Pita bread starter, Steak Tips, Bog drink (can't remember the exact name), and Peach Sangria. The drinks were both good. Cant complain. The starter was good - warm pita served with muhamara and cheese. Great start to the dinner. The main dish arrived, and it was decently portioned. The steak tips were cooked perfectly, the potato croquette side was solid, and I could take or leave the broccoli. Overall, very satisfied. I am sure we will be back.“

“A good friend of mine let me know that McGath's was going to start serving bar pizza. I decided to stop by and grab a bar pie for take out. I sat at the bar and ordered my pie to do and a Stella on Draft for the wait. Service was great and the Bar Pie was cooked to order and boxed up and delivered bar side. Cash Only place but an ATM on site if needed. As for the take out bar pie perfect crust sauce and cheese ratio was on point.“

We have been having this pizza since way back in the 80’s when it was at the railroad station when every pizza was perfect. Glad too see that same quality again. “Very nice place to enjoy good bbq food and watch the different sports games that are showing on TV. They have multiple pickle ball courts for groups to play on, a lounge area to relax with a party and two dining area to relax and eat at. So far my experiences have been great.“

“this public House feels like a public home. there is a great community of regular customers who are really nice people. they offer a full bar and food. there is an outdoor area with great ambiance and games. they have a lot of fun weekly activities like karaoke and live music. they also just got in a new pool table with beautiful new cloth and balls. I myself don't actually drink anymore so I don't spend a lot of money when I go there but I am treated like I am important, welcome and wanted. this is a great place to hang out. this is a real review. I don't work for this place in any capacity. I found it a couple of months ago and I'm glad that I did.“

“Mick Morgan’s is the perfect place if you’re looking to host an event. Lindsay Nichols, the events manager, is very accommodating and the staff is wonderful. The Guinness Room is the perfect size and in the warmer weather you have access to the deck. I ordered the appetizer buffet and the food was great.“
