The food was absolutely amazing, the drinks were on point, and the whole experience exceeded my expectations. “Listen the only reason I can see someone leaving a bad review is if you got your butt kicked in a game of connect four against the bartender and your salty about it. Honestly the food and drink is on point! Especially the chicky tendies and shoestring French fries! Every food item I have ate has been fantastic though. Sam, Kim and everyone involved are great. I am assuming any negative reviews are from patrons who caused the problem. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Highly recommend! “Came to Amelia’s for Easter dinner. This was my first time there and I was not disappointed! Everything was wonderful, from the cleanliness of the restaurant, to the decor, to the food to the cappuccino. But what brought it to perfection level, was our server, Kayla. PS Why do your hats not say maverick, @ maverick Hospitality maybe you open a place next middlebeast next.. I wonder the dos equivalent reps buddy who just just came from sox game was its so hard to make a comeback its really not though“

“The food is usually quite good on site but take out is another story. The prices on the website do not accurately reflect what they are charging in store. The steak tips are not the correct cut and taste like stew meat or something. It's not well seasoned. The hosts in front does nothing and stays on their cell phone. Slipping....“

“The best bar in Dorchester! I was visiting the neighborhood on a Sat. night from out of town, and the bartender and clientele were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even brought in pizza from next door and shared it with everyone. :)

“Great experience this past weekend. It was a busy Saturday night. We ate at the bar which it seems like lots of locals do that. Plenty of space at the bar to eat. Bartender was great. Drinks were epic. Food was so good! Will definitely come back. Thank you to the hostess for fitting us in. She was a doll.“

“I ordered the catfish basket to go and it was delicious! I called about 45 mins after they opened, they were very nice, told me about 15 mins and it was just under 10. My intention was to order the Haddock, but when they said they could offer Catfish, I went with that. It was de-boned, not over cooked, but still had a nice crisp. So good! I will definitely be back.“

“A good friend of mine let me know that McGath's was going to start serving bar pizza. I decided to stop by and grab a bar pie for take out. I sat at the bar and ordered my pie to do and a Stella on Draft for the wait. Service was great and the Bar Pie was cooked to order and boxed up and delivered bar side. Cash Only place but an ATM on site if needed. As for the take out bar pie perfect crust sauce and cheese ratio was on point.“

“Pizza is just getting better it was terrible for a while but the last few months best ever. Whoever improved and made it the way we always have known thank you. We have been having this pizza since way back in the 80’s when it was at the railroad station when every pizza was perfect. Glad too see that same quality again. “this public House feels like a public home. there is a great community of regular customers who are really nice people. they offer a full bar and food. there is an outdoor area with great ambiance and games. they have a lot of fun weekly activities like karaoke and live music. they also just got in a new pool table with beautiful new cloth and balls. I myself don't actually drink anymore so I don't spend a lot of money when I go there but I am treated like I am important, welcome and wanted. this is a great place to hang out. this is a real review.
