“this public House feels like a public home. there is a great community of regular customers who are really nice people. they offer a full bar and food. there is an outdoor area with great ambiance and games. they have a lot of fun weekly activities like karaoke and live music. they also just got in a new pool table with beautiful new cloth and balls. I myself don't actually drink anymore so I don't spend a lot of money when I go there but I am treated like I am important, welcome and wanted. this is a great place to hang out. this is a real review. “Pizza is just getting better it was terrible for a while but the last few months best ever. Whoever improved and made it the way we always have known thank you. We have been having this pizza since way back in the 80’s when it was at the railroad station when every pizza was perfect. Glad too see that same quality again. “Listen the only reason I can see someone leaving a bad review is if you got your butt kicked in a game of connect four against the bartender and your salty about it. Honestly the food and drink is on point! Especially the chicky tendies and shoestring French fries! Every food item I have ate has been fantastic though. Sam, Kim and everyone involved are great. I am assuming any negative reviews are from patrons who caused the problem. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Highly recommend! I regularly commute from Roslindale to patron this establishment for good food, good vibes and amazing experience! “You need the reservation for a table on Sunday night. CLOUD Steak is good but the sauce is a little sour so it covers the steak instead of boosting its original taste, which would waste the fresh steak itself for me. The beef scallion pancake is such a perfect starter dish. Bar atmosphere is top-level. Impressive.“

“One of my new favorites places and hidden gems in Quincy. Found this place by running into one of the bartenders at Sly Fox. Thanks Lisa! :) The owners Tony and Jodi (I think lol) are very friendly. “Great seafood boils, great fried seafood and excellent accompaniments. We tried the crab claws, shrimp, corn, sausage, potatoes, mussels, crayfish and broccoli, the seafood boil type items I just lister were delicious. The seasonings not only tasted fantastic they tasted like they were proprietary or made from a homemade recipe. We tried steamed oysters, fried catfish, calamari, hush puppies and chicken fingers and those were absolutely amazing. Great place and we highly recommend. Definitely will be going back. Oh they’ve got a bar. The atmosphere was chill.“

“Master McGrath's is not your Downtown Boston or Newbury Street gentrified bougie hangout. It's for the blue collars, the working folk, and for a pint and a shot or some simple cocktails.

Nothing fancy but then it doesn't need it either. Great neighborhood spot full of regulars who know how to use TouchTunes.

For food, they are currently working on getting their brand new pizza oven up and running. For now, you can order food delivered there (tons of places nearby) or bring your own. There's no table service but all of the bartenders are attentive and know what they're doing.

TO NOTE: This is a CASH ONLY bar. There's an ATM on site and several others in the vicinity.

Parking is on River st (FREE street parking) or there are a couple of small lots nearby. If going on the weekend, you can also park at Rockland Trust after 5 without fear of being towed.

“I went here for a Birthday party. It was on the second floor. When getting there I noticed it was an old building and it needed work. However when I went inside it was nice. It was clean and it had a new floor. It was a large space. There was a small bar and the bartender was friendly. The only problem I had was the strong smell of smoke. There was no one smoking there so I assume it is coming from the first floor .“
