Jim the manager went out of his way to check all the little details that make an event special from custom menus to an easel for a sign. The waitstaff was wonderful and accommodating! “Absolutely fantastic! We got the fried chicken with rice and beans and the fried fish with plantains. Chicken was well seasoned, and moist despite being fried without a batter. Fish was moist, tender, flaky, served whole fried, on the bone. Pikliz was tangy with a hint of that scotch bonnet spice, great compliment to the fried meats. Rice and beans was probably the best I've had on the continental US. 10/10 overall!“

“I have a complaint to be made, the chef Orlin Garcia himself, who works at the establishment, said that Mr. Carlos, the owner of Mak's.the kitchen is very dirty, there are a lot of rats, if basic sanitation is improved there, people will run the risk of catching leptospirosis, the snacks are very tasty and very dirty. Max Orlim Garcia's cook brought me a snack, my son-in-law said don't eat it because Mr. Carlos, the owner of the pizzeria, uses leftover food from other people at the table or what's left over As I said, Americans drool with desire for this burger, even though it's leftovers from other tables. He's a dirty and disgusting person, and Orlim himself helps to remake the burgers.“

The owner is incredibly helpful, friendly, and deeply cares about his customers. We ordered the chicken shawarma wrap and a side of their smooth hummus everything tasted perfectly fresh and homemade. Finding such high-quality food available from noon on Sundays is a major win. 10/10 experience!“

I just had my mother’s retirement party and I catered it all from Taso’s and everyone could NOT stop raving about the food . The food makes a party and Taso’s made the event perfect!! But if I am being honest, the REAL reason I love Taso’s is because Kristina made my son feel at ease. She took extra time with him, on his first visit there . Daniel gave it a 10/10 rating!!! “Their Veal Parm is the best. I haven’t found anything on the menu that wasn’t good. Their brownies are to die for but you have to get them early. I have had their Calzones, haddock dinner and sub, tuna fish is outstanding, everything is fresh and generous and the prices are fair.love this place.“

“I got take-out that was ordered online. The food was good, but the portions were small for the price. Spicy tuna roll - 6 smallish pieces and a shrimp tempura roll - 5 pieces. After tax it was almost $18. So I liked the food, but felt it was expensive for the portions.“

“Wonderful meal here and very friendly staff. It was great to have so much gluten free choice. The chicken Thai green curry and ginger beef were both delicious and gluten free. I also asked for the Thai green curry to be mild and they did that too. My partner had sweet and sour chicken (not gf) and also really enjoyed it. I would recommend to everyone for a great meal.“
