This is my new favorite Habesha restaurant in Boston!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so thankful to have such amazing Ethiopian food close to me (but also this is very dangerous for my wallet). What else is there to say?
We came in for dinner on Sunday. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The food was absolutely delicious, coming from two people who grew up eating these dishes. The staff is friendly, and they clearly know what they’re doing. Would definitely recommend. We will be coming back soon. Hope everyone gets a chance to try this delicious menu.

Mesob Restaurant and Bar is a Habesha restaurant in Boston. The food is truly incredible and every dish is delicious. The house kitfo is especially good, using very good kibe, and the portions are very generous. The Mesob combo is tasty and could easily feed three people. The sambusas with lentils are crispy and flavorful. The beet salad, house kitfo, lamb tibs and mushroom entree are also mentioned. The Coral Coast cocktail is better than the Ge'ez. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is friendly, kind and helpful, and they clearly know what they're doing. The service is top notch and the server explained everything carefully and gave excellent recommendations. The plate is colorful and beautiful with an exceptional taste to match. The food is reasonably priced for the amount of food received. Takeout came fresh and was packaged well. This is a great addition to the South End/Boston dining scene and a very welcome addition to the neighborhood.
