Limited selection but staff good. Didn't soak English but a Portuguese bakery. Didn't take cards so that limited. Corn bread was good but I have had better

Went in to grab a snack saw mold on the flan nothings labeled so you have to ask about everything and they don’t take cards

When my husband and I first moved to New Bedford, Beira Mar Bakery was strictly a Portuguese bakery. Now it seems that the new owner is Brazilian and is beginning to introduce Brazilian pastries into the case! Tried a couple of things and am excited to see how the menu grows. I look forward to trying their pão francês (you can order ahead via WhatsApp) and just really happy there is finally a brazilian bakery in New Bedford!
