We had a very pleasant experience! The traditional Portuguese pastries were very delicious! We really recommend a visit to this bakery in case you are looking for a taste of Portugal! Wonderful customer service and very cute renovation work!

When my husband and I first moved to New Bedford, Beira Mar Bakery was strictly a Portuguese bakery. Now it seems that the new owner is Brazilian and is beginning to introduce Brazilian pastries into the case! Tried a couple of things and am excited to see how the menu grows. I look forward to trying their pão francês (you can order ahead via WhatsApp) and just really happy there is finally a brazilian bakery in New Bedford!
