Cultivator Shoals Reviews
Stopped by last weekend for drinks and apps. This place did not disappoint! Drinks and food are both great, lots of drink choices. The atmosphere is really cool but best of all is the bartenders/ servers, our favorite is Chelsea!! She is so friendly, outgoing and right on point, we didn't ever have to wait for drinks. Chelsea keeps a good eye on her customers and comes over just before your drink is empty offering a new one. The establishment is great, but Chelsea keeps us coming...read full review
This place is the total package.
Everything on the menu is delicious and a little different from the norm. My personal favorite is the edamame dumplings.
The staff are a glowing reflection of their manager, Mike. All are friendly, attentive and knowledgeable enough to make appropriate recommendations for both food and drinks.
The space is small, but it is cozy and tastefully decorated with original paintings of historical figures tied to New Bedford.

Cultivator Shoals is a restaurant that features a unique ambiance, celebrating New Bedford's history through its artwork. The bartenders are fantastic, crafting creative and perfectly mixed drinks. There are many drink choices available, and the restaurant offers a variety of small plates, including tuna nachos, edamame wontons, and lobster rolls. While the food can be hit-or-miss, with some dishes occasionally overcooked, the bartenders and servers are always friendly and knowledgeable. The service is great, and the staff is willing to accommodate special requests, such as a spicy martini not on the menu. The atmosphere is cool, but it can get a bit loud, especially when large groups are present. Overall, Cultivator Shoals is a great spot for a night out, with delicious drinks and a pleasant atmosphere that keeps customers coming back.
