Merrill's on the Waterfront

we just walked out after waiting 30 minutes just to never got served. no one came to our table with bread, water, or to take our orders. two tables were seated after us and were served right in front of us. the girl bringing bread and water to tables walked right by us to one of the tables that were seated after us, looked right at our empty tabletop and never returned with bread and water for us. we waited almost 30min and every waitress walked right by us without helping us. what an unacceptable experience.

Absolutely terrible, we sat down and had no one come up to us and serve us for 20 minutes, other parties that showed up after us got served before us and waitresses just walked by us like we didn’t exist and had to end up leaving due to terrible service. Do not recommend what so ever.

We went off hours it was quiet, food and service were grwat!

Chicken was so tough couldn’t cut it terrible. Vegetables were cold,Informed waitress she said the chefs said sorry never gave anything off bill. Will never go back . Very Disappointing

Merrill's staff was very attentive throughout the entire process for a graduation party. The event planner (Victoria) was quick to respond to my questions and prepared. The bartender made great drinks and the servers were on top of everything. The Harborview Room was beautiful and spacious for guests. The Classic Buffet was a hit (especially the seasoned potatoes & sausages). Finding parking spaces for everyone on a Sunday was interesting because of the other parties coupled with the restaurant's regular Sunday brunch. All in all a great food, great experience, and would highly recommend.

Great to dine in with family. Visiting the area we unexpectedly stopped in and all the food was amazing. The wait staff were very attentive and she was super friendly. Good quality food. Coconut rice seemed a little off in taste as if it was boxed rice.

Recently attended Merrill's for a large corporate dinner and was delighted with the food and service. Victoria and the team were attentive and made sure our group were well looked after, the food was delicious too! Would highly recommend.

Merrill's was my wedding venue, and it was perfect. The food was excellent (cannot stop thinking about the bacon wrapped scallops), the venue was beautiful, and the events team was amazing. Victoria was wonderful to work with; during the planning she gave such individual attention and quick responses that it felt like we were her only couple (which was definitely not the case!). Everything came together beautifully and ran smoothly on the day, and I'm still getting compliments from guests. Perfect day!

Really nice Sunday brunch buffet! We got there about 12:45. Waited on. Instantly. Restaurant was very busy! Several big groups. Buffet was good with nice selection. My only complaint is things really weren't hot. Everything tasted fresh and was good just not steamy like I would have preferred. My husband ate better than he has in years, so it must have been really good!

We've tried Merrill's a few times in the past. Food seems to have gone downhill,it's very very average. Place was dead at 5:30 , you would think with a hotel right across the street it would be busier, and there was a show at the hotel that night as well. We won't be back anytime soon, unless we see reviews indicating things have changed. It's sad because it's a great location.

I hadn't eaten here in a while and remembered it was really nice. It was just OK this time. They had just reopened after the snowstorm so I'm not sure if the food just wasn't fresh. My friend got clams that were not fully opened and my steak had a weird taste. But the service was really good and I would like to go back. I think they were just having an off night . On top of that this couple that sat next to us wreaked of weed, it was really disgusting. Not sure what you can do about that but it wasn't pleasant .
