I haven’t been able to find crumpets in the grocery store for about 3 years. I ask about them but when I say crumpets no one has idea of what I am talking about. I was so excited when I went to Market Basket this week and they have them again. I love them with peanut butter on them. Hope they continue to carry them

Although these are the ONLY crumpets I've ever had, they quickly became my favorite breakfast. I eat these several times a week, and now that I've learned that they are local, I'll be continuing (happily) to support their business. Way better than English muffins. Hard to describe but they are delicious. I toast in my Ninja Air Fryer for 3:30 on each side (flip over), then eat with butter and strawberry jam.

Just bought some at Market Basket, they seem thicker and dry and edges were burned, used to be thinner and the tops were slanted not flat like now, has recipe changed.
