The Black Whale in New Bedford offers a picturesque setting with beautiful views of an active fishing port. There is plenty of parking, and the location is convenient both on and off the highway.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a reserved but helpful hostess who assisted us in finding a table. We chose a booth with sweeping views of the harbor, which made for a wonderful dining atmosphere.

Our server, Ashley, was the consummate professional....
A perfect summer Saturday night! We finally made the 45-minute trip to visit this waterfront spot that had been on our list, and it exceeded our expectations.

Andrew was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. We loved the raw bar and Boom Boom Shrimp, and when he overheard us debating the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, he surprised us by bringing it out for us to try on the house. Such a thoughtful touch!

Great food, great drinks,...
Best Restaurant in Bristol County. The Mozambique Mussels are a must. I've never had better mussels, and that's an appetizer. Quality drinks, quality food, great atmosphere, especially when it's nice out and the windows are open. I bring everyone here when they visit the area.
