My husband and I were bored an hungry and one of his friends suggested going to The Roasted Pig, and let me tell me, the place did not disappoint at all, menu was impressive, food and hospitality were outstanding, I highly recommend this restaurant in the North end of New Bedford, I was very satisfied with the outcome!!
Lovely little spot in New Bedford. Quiet and very clean. Our waitress was a sweet young lady who was attentive and knowledge about the menu. My meal was phenomenal. I had the Prego no Prato (petite Portuguese steak plate) and it was delicious. Hubby ordered Shrimp Mozambique (Sautéed shrimp finished in a buttery saffron sauce with garlic, scallions and lemon butter) and he said it was just a touch on the sweet side. Low noise with the music and conversation going on.
And, good prices.
Waitresses are Great.
Attentive and Efficient and very nice conversationalists.
Mostly Portuguese food, which was great.
