My hat's off to the wait staff there. While my wife and I were trying to leave there today there was a tremendous rain downpour. A couple of young staff scrambled to find an umbrella. One of the help came over to us as we stood just outside the entry door and handed us the umbrella and said that someone left it behind probably months ago and asked us to take it. This is just a sample of the attentiveness of the staff at Angie's. We always have a great dining experience there.
Good atmosphere , friendly staff , affordable , good food.
All good here, love the omelets. Waitresses are awesome!

Angie's Food and Diner is a cozy breakfast spot with a friendly atmosphere. The servers are nice, helpful, and attentive, making the dining experience enjoyable. The food is delicious and filling, with highlights like the best blueberry pancake, crisp bacon, and a large ham steak. The homemade hash is both sweet and savory, while the Greek Omelette is fluffy and loaded with options. Coffee is just right, and the service remains quick and efficient, even when the diner is busy. The cooks work like a well-oiled machine, serving up dishes like the Turkey BLT and sweet potato fries. Angie's even offers gluten-free options, adding to its appeal for all diners. With old-time counter seating, booths, and tables, it's a great spot for breakfast. It's a "can't go wrong" stop when in Newburyport, and many guests look forward to returning once pandemic restrictions are lifted.
