We stopped her for dinner during our New England road trip. The restaurant is set in a charming historic town. We opted to dine outside. The food and ambience were good. We ordered the veggie appetizer sampler and the vegetarian Thaali, along with mango Lassi. The staff were friendly.

My wife gets Chicken Tikka Masala and the Kashmir naan every time for literally years. Cannot go wrong with Jewel, you can taste the home cooking in every dish.

Tonight was my first visit but it definitely won’t be the last. The house special basil and coconut tandoori chicken was the star of our meal but everything was hot, fresh and delicious . The service was friendly and prompt, the owner was sociable and kept a close eye on all parts of the business to ensure everything went smoothly. Parking was easy and there was also a full bar!

I've ordered delivery from here for years but finally walked in for the first time this afternoon. It was quiet between lunch and dinner on a rainy day. Food was so delicious, much better fresh out of the kitchen (no surprise!). Great selection for vegetarians, too. Service was good and the place is pretty low key, clean and quiet.

Wow, incredible food! The meat samosas and chutneys were the best I've ever had! Chicken Tikka Masala was so flavorful and they weren't afraid to make it extra spicy like I ordered. For me, it was a tiny bit sugary-tasting, rather than the sweetness from caramelized onions, but that's more of a personal preference. The lamb vindaloo was incredible. The lamb was so tender and the sauce was full of flavor. I got the basil garlic naan and onion naan. Both were super fresh and crammed full of the minced fillings. Mango lassi was delicious and not overly sweet. Can't recommend their food enough! Service was very kind and helpful, but a little slow, as there was only one waiter on during the lunch rush. We enjoyed sitting in the bright and sunny glass dining room, but the rest of the restaurant could use a little updating and personality. They do give a cash discount, which I wish I had known prior to coming. Convenient public parking lot in front for $1.50 per hour. Overall a great experience and I will be back!
Everyone who served us was very sweet and kind. The chicken tandoori was unbelievably juicy and tender. The lamb korma and shrimp curry was amazing. i will absolutely be going back here

The food was delicious, and the waiter was friendly and attentive. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our our dishes. The only sad thing is that we don't live closer so we could be regular customers.
Parking: The paid lot right outside the restaurant wasn't too expensive and had a good number of spaces. If you don't know Newburyport very well, it's a little hard to find but so much better than trying to find street parking.

We couldn’t order the food because there was no option to order much for veg apps … so we decided to leave because didn’t like servicing there ….and the staff was so rude … I am amazed how the rating of such rude staff restaurant is 4.5 -…. Not deserving at all….. if customer was not able to read on the menu that under 5 dollars they only take cash that doesn’t customer is illetreate they acted like you don’t know how to read you should have come here after reading the menu .. Sorry didn’t have less rating thn 1 otherwise would have done that
