“india Pizza in Lexington, MA - A Hidden Gem. I recently visited India Pizza in Lexington, MA, for the first time and wasn't sure what to order. I decided on fried chicken and fried vegetable rice, which turned out to be an awesome choice. The rice came out first, and it was fantastic. The chicken was perfectly crisp, just the way I like it, even though I didn't request it that way. The customer service was top-notch—very professional. I only interacted with one staff member, but the service was fast, and I didn't have to wait long for anything. I highly recommend you try their food. I'll definitely be coming back. Excellent service all around! I'm not a person who try different culture foods. The reviews sold me. The Service I received again was top notch 👌 👍“

“We happen to stumble on this restaurant! I was amazed that they were in business for 38 years .
The food was so flavourful! Since it was lunch buffet we got to try all the dishes . Having gone to a lot of Indian restaurants this one stands out in flavour and spices .
The owner Mala is an exceptional lady .“

“Ssaanjh offers a fun, modern take on classic Indian dishes while still capturing all the comforting, familiar flavors. Their dahi bhallas were a standout — packed with flavor and absolutely melt-in-your-mouth soft. The malai tikka was another favorite; the chicken was incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned.
I’d highly recommend their dal makhani and their variety of naans, especially the sesame and garlic naan. And definitely don’t miss the shahi tukda — rich, indulgent, and the perfect way to end the meal.
If you’re craving delicious Indian food in the city, Ssaanjh is a great spot to satisfy that urge.“

“Chennai Eats is a hidden gem for anyone craving truly authentic South Indian flavors. The food is consistently fresh and bursting with the kind of taste that instantly transports you back home to India. Their appetizers, especially the idly and vada are spot on. It’s rare to find that level of authenticity for South Indian food here in Boston.
The biryanis are rich, aromatic, and satisfying. I have tried a few varieties so far and can’t wait to get my hands on their Hyderabadi Dum Biryani once it’s back in stock.
Prices are reasonable, though I do wish the portion sizes were a bit more generous. Still, the quality makes it worth every penny. The space itself is cozy with limited seating, so it can get crowded during peak hours.
My only gripe is with their online ordering system. The website estimates 20–30 minutes for pickup, but during busy lunch or dinner hours, it often takes longer once you arrive. I understand the rush, but it would be great if the wait times were updated more accurately to reflect real-time demand.
Overall, Chennai Eats delivers an exceptional culinary experience that’s hard to beat. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a taste of South India in the Boston area.“

“We made a quick reservation this evening and showed up early. We were seated quickly and had sufficient time to order. Our server took about 10 minutes to greet us and took our entire order at that time.
The service wasn't anything to write home about, and our food was out before we received the bottle of wine we ordered. However, the food was excellent! We ordered the butter chicken, chicken vindaloo, onion naan, and vegetable pakodas. Everything was flavorful and came to our table hot. Probably the best of these dishes we've had.
Give this place a shot, you will be happy you did.“

“This is the second time in one week my friend and I have chosen this restaurant as our destination for food, drinks, and merriment and we were not disappointed. The staff is a delight, both times we were greeted with a warm smile and they were very knowledgeable recommending dishes and levels of spice. The naan bread is delicious and the appetizers and entrees we ordered were amazing as well bursting with so much flavor. The cocktails were crafted with precision and so much passion from the wonderful bartender. The live music is great! We definitely recommend Chulo restaurant and plan on returning again and again!“

“We had a last min no reservation bday dinner for my grandmother here, where we were seated by Tauseef and his team immediately and served! We ordered a bunch of food for our large group and enjoyed!
Thanks for the lovely experience as we visited Boston! Great selection of north and South Indian food, and indo Chinese food!“
“Hands down the best Indian food in town. We tried their neighbors Punjab and Zomza (and they are good) but we like this one best! Our go to’s are the butter chicken which is incredibly smooth and flavorful and the Matar Paneer. Make also sure to try their garlic naan and mango lassi! The restaurant is very spacious and I appreciate that you can have a good conversation at dinner as it is not noisy. Service is attentive and friendly! Give it a try!“

“My wife and I went for a weekday lunch. The proprietor was friendly and informative. The food was good. I particularly enjoyed the butter chicken and the samosas. The lentil soup (served with vegetarian entrees) was also delicious with a nice little spice. I look forward to trying other things on the menu, like the mutton korma, palak paneer, and biryani. Thank you!“

“Living nearby, Kantipur has become my go-to every week for quarantine takeout. I've tried all the chicken dishes about 3 times by now and I still can't decide which is the best! But my favorite menu item is the vegetable pakora appetizer. Dip it in the chutney sauce and you'll understand. 🎁🎊“

“An excellent spot in JP for some of the best Indian food in the city. This is my 6th time visiting the restaurant and the first time the lighting in the restaurant was nice enough to take some pictures.
This place isn't afraid to make authentic Indian food. Just be sure to tell your server you would like an authentic level of spice and your mouth (and guts) will burn. For most, a mild or mid level of spice would suffice. I love their Special Briyani, which is a combination of fish, shrimp and chicken.
Now, the service was hit or miss. Today, the service was weak. They had 4 servers in the restaurant who were happy to stand and watch things go by rather than be attentive or helpful. They were also eager to get you OUT of the restaurant by placing the check on your table as quickly as they can even though it was quiet and there were plenty of space. Thankfully, the quality of the food saved the day.“

“Great meeting place for lunch. My friends and I usually get thali's though sometimes we switch it up for another lunch item or a dosa. I usually order take-out or some samosas for the kids for a great after school snack. Royal India participates in an easy zero-waste container program. Love it!“

“Highly recommended for vegetarians in the area craving authentic Indian flavors!
We tried the Samosa Chaat and Vada Pav, and both dishes were absolutely top-notch. The Vada Pav packs a bit of heat—so if you’re sensitive to spice, just a heads-up—but I personally loved the kick. Totally worth it for anyone looking to indulge in bold, flavorful Indian street food.“

“This is clearly the best Indian food in the greater Boston area by a long mile. All the dishes have perfect consistency, are very tasty and aromatic, have fresh ingredients, and have a special savory quality above other Indian restaurants. Also, the chefs will make the food based on your preference of spiciness (and I've actually ordered vindaloo, which is supposed to be spicy, in other local restaurants that was served mild!) no matter what the dish. The selection is larger and more interesting that at any other local restaurant, with a good selection of special dishes, breads, and dosas in addition to all the traditional dishes. There is an amazingly good selection of several draft and bottled beers (for example, Night Shift and Jacks Abby offerings on tap, and Dogfish Head and others in bottles), which is EXTREMELY rare for Indian restaurants, which usually serve the worst quality beers. Finally, the location (Arlington Center, with plenty of on street parking) and inside decor are great, with a modern and stylish interior with comfortable seating. The wait staff is always friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. So, if you want to have the best experience in Indian dining (even if the dishes are a dollar or two more expensive), make Punjab your destination. I've been to dozens of other local Indian restaurants over the past 37 years and this is by far the best one!“

“Vaisakhi is the breath of fresh air that the restaurant scene in this little corner of Brighton and all of Cleveland Circle needs. Finally a sit down, casual Indian place that's reasonably priced and doesn't require half an hour each way on the T to get to! Even on their first day open, their food is better than several of the Indian restaurants in the Boston area that I've eaten at. Tucked away across from the Sutherland Road T stop, you can follow your nose to the doorstep of the restaurant. The interior tastefully restrained, bright colors and some simple paintings above the booths. The space is small, but not cramped and the booth seating at least was very comfortable. The three gentlemen who own/run the front of the house are eager to please. We were seated right away and given water and menus. The menu is comprehensive without being too large and confusing. The vegetarian, and meat sections are both equally sized, so there's plenty of options for both vegetarians and meat eaters alike. My wife and I started out with the vegetable pakoras. These little fritters of batter and veggies were served hot, with a little bit of salty spice powder and dipping sauces. The crunchy shell pairs nicely with the soft veggies inside and tastes amazing when you put a bit of the red onion chutney on it. For our main course we ordered the saag paneer and the dal makhani, two of our favorite vegetarian dishes in Indian cuisine. The dal makhani was subtle, not overly spiced and not overly rich like many I've had. The lentils weren't rock hard or cooked into mush. The star of the show was definitely the saag paneer though. The saag was so wonderfully rich and smooth and spiced perfectly, and the paneer was the perfect texture, not too soft and mushy and now dry and crumbly. We decided to leave room for some desert and tried both the gulab jamun and the kheer. The kheer was a bit under seasoned for my taste, not enough rose water or cardamom and a bit on this thin side, but it served as a nice palate cleanser. The gulab jamun was excellent, the syrup not too sweet or floral and the balls had a nice subtle flavor to them as well. I'm lucky enough to live right around the corner from Vaisakhi, but I would gladly travel a lot further for this food.“

“A small south Indian food restaurant in Harvard university campus. Limited seating area. We ordered dosa and samosa both were good. Its self service there. I don't recall the price but i think was slightly on the expensive side. They don't give free water (usually restaurants in US provide free water). No additional chutney or sambhar, you have to purchase the same. Food quality good though and you won't miss Indian food while in US :)“

“I love Indian food and Singh's Cafe has the best Indian food in the state. They had stopped their luncheon buffet, they have recently resumed the buffed. I can't tell you how happy I was.. Everything is great. The Tiki masala, lamb, vegetable dishes are incredible. The samosas are killer.. There isn't a bad dish there.. The atmosphere is warm and there has never been a wait. There is plenty of street parking right in front. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, and the prices are quite reasonable, $15 for the all you can eat lunch buffet. I always get some to bring back to my wife, she also thinks it's the best Indian food.“
