“We stopped in just before 5pm on a Saturday and thankfully we did because the place got busy quickly. There was plenty of staff working to handle the night. One of us ordered a 2 meat tray with brisket & pork belly. The chosen sides were basement potato salad and Mac & cheese. The other ordered a pulled pork tray. Sides were coleslaw and Mac & cheese. Both had sweet tea and shared a bucket of biscuits w honey butter. The best part was the pulled pork. It was wicked moist and flavorful. I feel the brisket was a bit dry, but there are 3 sauces on the side. We loved the biscuits with honey butter and the Mac & cheese was good. Our meal came to about $77, before tip. The staff are mostly efficient but our waiter could have been better. He didn't ask what we wanted to drink when he greeted us, he wasn't very personable in comparison to another waiter who gave very detailed descriptions of the specials when speaking to a table next to us. We asked for a sweet tea refill and didn't get it. Seemed sporadic, but not new. We'd go back though to try it again.“

“Pulled pork was SO GOOD. Actually, everything we had was outstanding. Pulled pork, brisket, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and corn bread were 10/10. Highly recommend and definitely will be going back! This is better BBQ than some of the “high end” bbq restaurants I’ve been to in Boston.“

“Decided to go out for dinner with a few friends and it was delicious. I liked the citrus dressing on the avocado salad. The filet mignon was tender and flavorful. For dessert, green tea ice cream is a must!“

“Decided to walk through Allston on a grody, misty afternoon and look for some food. Walked in by chance and at my SO’s insistence that we give it a look. I loved everything about the aesthetic, and enjoyed the soft music playing in the background. Being able to choose the ingredients I wanted - knowing they were organic and that they looked more than delicious raw...that was the absolute best part. The gentleman at the front was supremely helpful and answered any question thrown at him - by anyone in the shop. The price was more than worth the amount of food received, and the care extended to us as guests was wonderful. I absolutely would recommend anyone to give this a try. Don’t hesitate to ask a question, you will definitely get an answer. :)“

“Went in this evening with family and friends. The food was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed steak tips with rice and it was impeccable. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere has changed a lot (same great vibes) which I love. Charlie is such a kind and caring human. He’s always been a love! “I recently tried out this restaurant today!!!! for the first time, and I was pleasantly surprised by the hospitality. He made sure to give a friendly hello! Shout -out to tje light-skinned man at the front desk. He was so welcoming! The ribs were okay You know how much I love good food, so I had to give this place a 4 star rating for the ribs! Some end parts over cooked but overall it was okay And the cornbread was very good I couldn’t resist sharing my experience on my TikTok and Instagram pages. I’m so grateful for food, and I’ll definitely be back! Hopefully better review next time Peace and blessings“

“The atmosphere was a lot of fun! My team visited Boston for a work event and found this neat spot to watch the Super Bowl. The venue is very corporate-friendly, and the staff were extremely attentive and welcoming, which we really appreciated.
One downside was that the floor was quite slippery! Two of our team members slipped while bowling, while wearing the Nike bowing shoes provided on-site. The food was also underwhelming overall, with the pretzel being the standout item.
Despite a few drawbacks, it was still a fun night out with a great, lively vibe and excellent service.“
