“Woke early this morning to get in a few bakery stops before my tart class later today … and @the.emporio.ma in Stoneham is the absolute star of my product research field trip! A completely adorable young-ish Italian baker (with a familiar familial accent😉) creates the most lovely and wonderfully tasting delicacies from her homeland where she was a baker in Turin. I highly recommend this off-the-beaten track little bakery that exudes the love of Italian cooking that I grew up with… smells divine! This bakery is located in Stoneham but I overheard her saying that she is looking for a larger place soon. Yay! I love seeing people with passion that produce excellent products do well! Brava!! Brava!! I’ll be back!“

“My husband and I had a great date here! The service was amazing, everyone was friendly and attentive. The vibe and ambience were perfect. Not to mention, the food was delicious! We loved the squash blossoms and pizza as an appetizer. I also can’t say enough about the bread that was brought to our table to start as well. Finally, meals were incredible! We got the bolognese and the chicken. Will definitely be back!! A great place I think everyone HAS to try!“

“Overall everything was great. The food was pretty good but the standout was our server. It's rare to encounter someone as thoughtful and I wish I remembered his name. We mentioned to him once that we had an 8:30 train. While my friend and I were deep in conversation, we lost track of time. He came over to our table, brought us the bill and told us it was time for us to leave so we didn't miss our train. These are the touches that make a restaurant special.“

“If anybody loves mussels, I just had the best ones of my LIFE at Juliet, in Somerville. Lemony, garlicky, buttery, herby, briny goodness. With a big hunk of toasted baguette to soak up the heavenly sauce at the end. Also, they come with frites! 10/10 recommend. Husband had the burger which was also one of the best we’ve ever had. Service was wonderful. The menu had lots of dishes from Nice. Put Juliet on your list!“
