Dining at Farmstead table was a delightful and delicious experience reminiscent of cozy meals at home with friends or family on an elevated level. The food was hearty, filling and yummy. The service warm, friendly and attentive without being overly intrusive.
We always are very satisfied here. The food is always fresh and well prepared. There is a good vegetarian and fish selection. The featured wines are always quite good. I enjoy the low key ambience. The service is almost always professional and helpful. However, at our most recent visit last evening, while everything else was up to the usual high level, our primary waiter seemed very green, unfamiliar with the menu, and awkward. I assume that will change.
We unfortunately did not have very good service here. We had the bartender as our server though we were seated at a table and she completely forgot the drink order she took. Service was extremely slow the night we were there. And .. although we had indicated it was an anniversary dinner on OpenTable there was no mention or acknowledgment of it from the staff (it's possible that OpenTable doesn't share that note to the restaurant but then why even ask in the app) We ended...
