“Such a unique and special experience and meal. I went in without a reservation and was able to get a seat. Coolest restaurant menu I’ve ever seen, annotated with so much meaning and history behind every ingredient and dish. I ordered two drinks, a main, and a side. Everything was delicious. After eating, I spent some time sipping a drink on the couch/lounge area looking at their books. An immersive cultural experience. I will be back. You can tell this place has so much love and energy behind it.“

“Such friendly service and warm atmosphere! Love the interior, the booths were comfortable to sit at! Loved the personal photos on the wall and the bright colors of the decor. It was hard to choose what to pick since everything sounded wonderful. The hummus and cucumber mint dip with the hot pita were the best start with! Could have eaten just that for lunch but had to try the bowls. The falafels were crispy on the inside and soft and inviting in the inside. You could taste and see the freshness of all the ingredients! The mint lemonade, get yourself a pitcher! Finished with the homemade baklava, oh my gosh, so freaking flavorful! The family owned restaurant is top notch! Even if your not a vegetarian, you will enjoy the flavors and variety, also you will be full for the rest of the day! “Great place! Had a meeting at Milk Street Cafe and had no idea it was a Kosher restaurant, and was pleasantly surprised. They have multiple kitchens so you can have both meat or dairy. The salads and soups are great. Great option for easy lunch in this neighborhood.“

“We ordered from their catering menu for ten and picked up our order on a Friday afternoon. The babganoush was among the most delicious yet. What the falafel lacked in authenticity and flavor the shawarma and chicken made up for—-moist and well seasoned. The pita bread was fresh, full and delicious. I’d say the platter was too heavy on the salad given the price but by golly it was kosher, delicious and obviously prepared with live so I’m not complaining.“
