“If you’re at Providence and looking for a great meal, you have to try Shah’s Halal Food. The chicken and lamb combo over rice is incredibly flavorful and juicy, and their famous white sauce is easily the best in the city. The portions are huge for the price—I usually have enough left over for a second meal—and the service is always fast and friendly. It’s much better than the typical food court options and is easily the freshest, most satisfying spot in the thayer street.“
“🙏🙏🙏 Please consider including a small side of fries with the wraps! Although delicious, the price point is very high $$ for the small-ish size of what you receive.
🍕 pizza is very good, comes with a couple of tasty sauces. 😋
Will be back to try the loaded fries and burgers. This place was very clean and a nice spin on halal meets American fusion.“

“A couple of the dishes were really good - the kofta was so well seasoned and the chicken shawarma plate was great. I would definitely come back just for these dishes.
While the ingredients tasted fresh, I would not recommend the tabbouleh (soupy and oily) or falafel (dry and incredibly salty). The hummus was good, but I would've liked to see the price be more at about $7 for the size versus $9 (about 1.25 cups).
The interior is small and clean. There are some tables/booths inside if you're looking to scarf down your food onsite or a place to sit while you're waiting to-go.
I would be interested to try their pizza next time!“

“First time here and opt'd for pickup thru DoorDash.
Met Lily and she was incredible, hospitable, and let me know about being able to order thru official Dave's Hot Chicken channels.
So nice. Thank you again!“
“This place is awesome. Little hole in the wall inside the chicken restaurant. I enjoy trying different cultural foods and this spot did not disappoint. The seekh kababs were nice, juicy and tender. The chapli kebabs were nice and flavorful. The naan was huge and delicious!
Highly recommend trying them out if you're in the area!“

“Rasoi is one of our favorite spots to get dinner and we had them for one of our catered cuisines at our wedding last night. People were complimenting the food the whole time; definitely a big hit. Everyone I spoke to while getting the order organized was friendly and helpful.“

“Place is a small hole in the wall gem on the east side. You would probably miss it if you were going down Thayer street if you weren't looking. Food quality especially the shawarma is totally awesome and is well worth it to drop in for lunch. Space is limited is only minor downside if your planning on eating in. Great for takeout.“
