The Brewery at Four Star Farms

Fantastic brewery/taproom with great craft beers and a gorgeous outdoor seating area.

This brewery centers around a very nice structure, but the real appeal is sitting outside in suitable weather. The hops fields are amazing and particularly warrant a visit at or near harvest time. The brewery is in a rather remote setting, just this side of the middle of nowhere, and that is part of its attraction. The grounds outside are extensive, down a hill to the edge of one of the hops fields.

There is not an extensive selection of beers on tap, but what they have is certainly good. There is also a limited selection of wines on tap, from a nearby winery, for those who prefer wine over beer. The brewery is now offering a pizza food truck, at least on Friday nights.

My only complaint is that the brewery does not allow dogs, even outside. That is unfortunate, but I understand that the owners have a right to make their own management decisions. Well-behaved dogs and responsible dog owners do not present problems at other breweries and wineries, and maybe it would be worth rethinking this policy. I (sadly) knew in advance and left my dog at home, but when I left I couldn't help but notice somebody else's canine friend cooped up in a vehicle in the parking lot. (At least it was a cool evening.)

We stumbled upon The Brewery at Four Star Farms after going on a hike in the area. We couldn’t have been happier to have found this hidden gem! The beer was top notch, the food vendor (pizza the day we were there) was delicious and the landscape/grounds were simply beautiful. We look forward to returning again this Summer!

Great Beers, Great People, and an Amazing View.

We love four star brewery! However, we went on a Saturday night to experience their new pizza offering. 5 PM and all pizza was sold out. Gotta work on that!

Yesterday we had an incredible smoked corned beef dinner provided by Fli's Market in Erving, MA. Awesome meal. The service we got at the brewery was top notch as always, and the beer is some of the best we've had. They had a band playing Irish music also. What a wonderful day. Thank you.

Great beer, great people, local farm, beautiful scenery, and fun events! I don’t even drink alcohol and I come here on the regular! Worth the trip!!

I have been here plenty of times. I will be returning too! Great beer selection, awesome staff, great for families with children of all ages, and it is a very welcoming experience!

What a cool place. Just getting to the brewery was great. Once you get there you will instantly relax and enjoy the beer, snacks and atmosphere.

Excellent quality beer, the summer ale is super flavorful and refreshing. Comfortable indoor and outdoor seating options. There was also a food truck on site.
