Went to the GOAT last night with family visiting from Florida.. as always, our experience was exceptional! Excellent food, excellent atmosphere and excellent service! We are about 1/2hr away and it is worth the drive!! Highly recommend!!!
I walked into Goat city today 5/5 at 7:30. My son and were greeted with a very angry looking sever sitting down in at the front door. We were sat at a small table despite there only being 2 tables in the restaurant. We waited and waited, a sever walked in and out of the room we were in at least 5-6 times. Fine, food is just ok, just don’t sit at the bar. Bartenders slow, terrible poor and complaining along with the GM about customers and the establishment

GOAT City Pub is a solid joint with great atmosphere and good food. The food is excellent, with top quality ingredients. Tenders are always hot n fresh, gold fever is great, and pub pizza are amazing and always crispy. Ranch n blue cheese are made in house and so good. The chowder is very hearty and creamy. Salads are fresh and crispy. Service is always good, with wonderful staff. The manager came over and talked to us. Outdoor dining allows dogs. Free popcorn is available at the bar most nights. However, one waitress gave the bill then was nowhere to be found for half an hour, so customers had to go to the bar to pay. Food can be on the meh side for some, but if you enjoy pub style food, this is the place to go. It is a townie place but with friendly people and staff. Overall, a very good time and highly recommended.
