The Barley Neck Reviews

Peter was great helping us out through the whole dining experience! All Good! JG

The Barley Neck is a highly recommended dining spot, known for its great food, friendly service, and lively atmosphere. The restaurant has kept improving since the Hadfield brothers took over a few years ago, offering a fun environment with enjoyable entertainment. The menu features a variety of delicious flavors, including popular cod dishes, garden salads, pizza specials, and unique options like kobucha tempura and trombette pasta. Guests can also enjoy excellent cocktails, wine, and an unusual amaro.
Recent visitors have praised the superb fried scallops, kimchi fish tacos, haddock, oysters Rockefeller, and chowder, all described as fresh and tasty. The place can be lively and loud, adding to the fun vibe, though parking lot lighting could be better for safety. The service is quick and friendly, and the restaurant is perfect for a joyful evening out, whether for a night on the Cape or just a short drive away.
Customers have highlighted the great staff, amazing food, and one-of-a-kind experiences, such as take-out pizza on Nauset beach. The restaurant has also been praised for its special events, like a wedding celebration that turned out better than expected despite the rainy weather. The Barley Neck is a beloved and cherished spot for both locals and visitors.
