“We had a lovely birthday dinner at the Beacon Room tonight. The staff was great, the food was fantastic! Highly recommend their risotto, tonight’s special, and the elk was perfectly prepared and delicious. And try the flourless chocolate cake, so good.“

“What an intelligent, creative and delicious meal we had. The elements and courses were so well composed and orchestrated. All of the courses were excellent and stood out and with that said perhaps the 1st course oyster and the foie gras tart took the prize for us. The wine pairings were with perhaps one exception were spot on. Our primary server who had a pleasing personality was impeccable with service and her wine knowledge. As it turns out a sous chef was having his first night on the floor as wait staff and on 3 occasions pulled a plate before someone was finished eating and when he brought the amuse bouche desert he dropped them all on the table and because they were prepared to an exact count we were deprived of that deliciousness. There are 2 seatings, 5:30 and 8:00 and it would have been very nice to have more time at our table.“
