Meiji is a restaurant that offers consistently great food, with standout dishes including Jalapeño chicken, fried rice, General Gao, and basil chicken. The service is top-notch, with staff going above and beyond to provide an excellent dining experience. Customers appreciate the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with staff members who are super friendly and always with a smile. The building is somewhat generic, but the staff strives to meet all needs even when short-handed. The restaurant features both Chinese and Japanese dishes, with sushi that is always fresh and seafood and other items served in tasty, generous portions. Vegetarian options are plentiful. Recent reviews highlight the quick service and fresh ingredients, with many noting the delicious and bold flavors of the food. Dishes like spicy crab rangoon, Mongolian spicy beef, and Singapore rice noodles are favorites, with each bite encouraging customers to return. Outdoor seating with umbrellas is available in good weather, making it a popular choice for both dine-in and takeout. Despite some noting that chicken wings are now smaller than before, Meiji remains a favorite for many customers. The busy atmosphere reflects its popularity, and many recommend trying the Watermelon martini or the deadly MaiTais. Meiji is truly a hidden gem for anyone seeking a consistently excellent dining experience.
