The food here is always good. This time it arrived not as hot or as timely as we might have liked. Like everywhere staffing is an issue. We only saw two wait staff to service the whole place. They were clearly trying but not very able to keep up. We may try elsewhere on our next drive from Boston.
Husband and I ordered lunch specials that included salad with his sandwich, soup for me. He got his salad, I did not. He was done when I tracked down the waitress in the bar for my salad just as he got his sandwich. Soup arrived before he was done but had to sit there while I finished. Granted she was very busy but timing was way off common sense. Of course, if a customer orders the all-you-can eat soup and salad combo and you don't serve them, what a savings! There were 15 of us, including 8 children ranging from 1 -14 years of age. Our family has many food preferences and allergies and everyone was able to find something on the menu they could eat. That is not something that happens too often. Our server was outstanding in her attentiveness, patience and accuracy. One person serving 14 is not easy, I'm sure. We had a great time!
