I can’t believe this doesn’t have a 5 star rating. Clam Chowder is delicious. Fish and Chips is delicious. Bread pudding is out of this world! Great atmosphere.The staff is great. The only thing is the parking lot is small. There is more parking across the street.
I’d say this place is about 4.5 out of 5. Really awesome atmosphere of cozy Irish eatery/pub with wonderful wait staff who helped us and was attentive without being too much in your business. The clam chowder was good but it was a little too heavy on the cream and light on the seafood. That’s the main qualm I had with this place. The little neck clams were delicious and warmed us right up along with a tasty Guinness.
So many great reviews and creative takes on some classics made us decide to dine here. The appetizers all looked so good, so we decided to order 4 of them: Shepard’s Pie Croquettes, Brussel Sprouts, Calamari, and Pretzel with beer cheese. All of it was just ‘eh’. Nothing to write home about. The croquettes are missing flavor, very bland. The rémolade with the calamari, however, was too spicy.
