We went here twice during our time in Cape Cod. The first time, everything was amazing! We got seated quickly, got a little basket of bread to start and our food was served quickly and was so delicious! It was so good, we wanted to take our family from Boston there on the last day of the trip. Big mistake! We actually had the same server both times but the second time, they were packed. We got our wait time of 30-35 minutes and took a little stroll while we waited and then were back at the restaurant in around 25 minutes (we had a 1 and 3 year old with us) and waited for our text. After 35 minutes we went in to see if they forgot about us or something as the kids were having a hard time waiting for food and were getting grumpy. They told us they just sat another group of 6 and it would be another 20 minutes. Finally, in about 10 minutes we got a table. Once seated, we saw there was another empty table of 6 right next to us. They took a long time before getting our drink order and they never brought out the bread until I asked. We ordered and then more waiting for the food. Our drinks were all empty and we had to flag down someone for refills. Finally, the food arrived after about 30 minutes. It was just as delicious as the first time! I got the tortellini carb, others got lasagna, fish and chips (the fish and chips were soooo good!), and a cheese burger. It was all hot and fresh but the burger order was wrong. After the service so far, we didnt complain. I understand it was a busy friday night but I think they were severely understaffed that night. Our server was doing her best but she also had at least 3 other large tables, one with about 20 people and one with 8. It was too much for one person and we noticed two employees (managers?) standing around, restocking the bar and other things while she was working her butt off. The bathrooms were also a mess with overflowing garbage and toilet paper on the floor. I think more could have been done to make sure service wasnt affected by the busy night. Would still visit again if back in the area as our first experience was very good.

When the girl gave me my food, she told me to be careful because the handle ripped on the bag that had my food in it. What she didn't tell me was that she dropped it and and my marinara sauce in my mozzarella sticks exploded! and instead of checking on it and fixing it. She gave me the food instead of making it right.

The mussel appetizer is enough for a meal!

I went here today with my family because we walked by and it smelled great! To be fair, my dish WAS good, but my partner did not agree. We’re on vacation and he did not like his food so he kindly told the waitress it tasted wrong and she helped us by changing the meal but we got it to go since me and my son were already done eating. When we got back to where we are staying he went to eat it and there’s a whole metal handle in it. A LARGE METAL HANDLE IN THE FOOD!! And we do believe this was on purpose because we sent a dish back, which we’ve never done before ever so this just feels awful and so so wrong and not like an accident. We sent a dish back and the one we got back was highly tampered with… literally so messed up. We are not happy.

Excellent service, atmosphere, views, and music. Terrible food. We ordered Caesar’s salad, side of meatballs, minestrone soup, cheese ravioli, ragu weekend special, a gluten free option, spaghetti bolognese, and chicken tenders and fries. A lot of locals frequent this place so even though it’s in a tourist area it’s not strictly for tourists. Seating is easy, and service was prompt, attentive, and with a welcoming smile. How this restaurant has evolved into a chain or lasted this long is beyond me because the flavors have to be some of the least palatable in this kind of cuisine I’ve experienced in over three decades of dining out. The pesto lacked flavor, the minestrone was thick tomato sauce mostly, the ragu reeked of something aweful, the veal Marsala was rubbery and worth a visit by chef Ramsey. I rarely leave such a negative review of the food when I like everything else. The locals in our group are not coming back. The out of towners are going to be finding better fare elsewhere. I hope this restaurant takes a hard look at their kitchen recipes and operations.

Mama Mia's has amazing food. Their homemade pasta is the best!!! Pizza is fantastic. The view of the ocean is perfection.

We had pizza and pasta dishes, and they were genuinely disappointing. Having spent several years in Italy, we know the country and its cuisine very well. It was some of the poorest Italian food we have had in a long time.

We have also found several excellent Italian restaurants in the United States, so our expectations were based on experience rather than comparison with Italy alone.

The staff seemed poorly trained and had some difficulty providing attentive and efficient service. Overall, we would not recommend this restaurant.

We have been eating add mamma mia's for years. It is sad to say that my last trip. The spaghetti sauce tasted like I could have got it from A. Can it lost its mama Mia's flavor I can only hope and pray that it was only this trip because that sauce was always the closest to my grandmother's
Let's hope it was a one time thing

Pizza was good not great but I enjoyed it. bartender wasn't personable I get she was training but her whole vibe was awful and rushed everything then wasn't present at times for awhile. We went on a slow rainy day and the vibe was just off all around May or May not go back idk.
