A hidden gem 💎 located off a dirt road near the Pine Hills. I was amazed by the flowered landscape, cabana covered tables, tables with umbrellas, inside dining, outside ambiance or the large outdoor open air bar with plenty of seating. The food was delicious and the presentation was superb. Definitely returning again.

Rye Tavern is a cozy spot! They have incredible drinks & food. The service is great as well - the staff are very welcoming & friendly. It's a small spot, so I'd suggest making a reservation ahead of time. They have a really nice outdoor patio & bar as well. Highly recommend!

Lovely historical tavern recommended to us by our host. Didn’t disappoint. BYOB which was good to have as we had been wine tasting in the Hudson area prior to our visit. Corkage a little steep but probably on par with others in the area.

My family and I recently visited and overall had an enjoyable time. We sat at the bar, and while the service was acceptable, it was not exceptional. At the end of the evening, we left a $60 tip on a $400 bill, which we felt was fair given the level of service we received.
However, as we were finishing our drinks and preparing to leave, a staff member called out to us from across the bar, questioning the tip amount in front of the remaining patrons. This occurred during a quieter time of the night, making the situation even more uncomfortable and embarrassing.
We found this behavior to be extremely unprofessional and inappropriate. While we understand that tipping can be a sensitive topic, addressing it publicly in that manner was completely unacceptable. We hope this feedback is taken seriously, as it impacted an otherwise pleasant experience.

I have been eating at Rye Tavern for many years. We where heading to the Cape last night and thought we would stop in for dinner. Unfortunately the the food was disapointing. We got a Ceaser salad which was OK. Grilled Sour dough which was mediocre. We shared the scollops which wher just OK and only had 5 small scollops for $38 dollars. I eat out a lot and don't mind paying for a nice meal. However I expect a quality product. We will not be back.
We showed up kinda late with the party of eight and they were able to accommodate us for a late dinner. It's so nice to be in a tranquil woodsy setting at an old 1700s Tavern and meeting place.

Super cool spot. The outside is amAzing. Friendly/helpful staff. Food was ok. I would try again and get different plates to try before I say more about the dishes... Prices are pretty crazy for what you're getting...but I guess everywhere is nowadays!

Food and atmosphere was great however me and family got bitten by tons of mosquitoes specifically on the legs. I’d recommend bringing lots of bug spray and don’t wear shorts.
